Matsuo and I were getting along so well but I'm not going to forgive him yet. Today my mum had a day off and so was I. Therefore, I'm planning to spend my time with mum. Yet there's always something that would ruined our perfect day.
Ding dong.
The doorbell rang as I heard my mum yelling 'Coming!' downstairs. As I was reading my book in my room, I heard some voices and I'm curious to see who is it. I then dropped my book and stomped downstairs. "Mum, who-" I never got to finish my words when I'm aware that Matsuo was in the living room with my mum chit chat happily. I furrowed my eyebrows, thinking: What is he doing here?
When Matsuo spotted me on the stairs, he waved at me as my mum followed the direction where he's looking at. Mum immediately brightened up when she saw me. Then I made my way to the living room and scowled at the smirking guy.
"Say hi to Matsuo-kun, honey." Mum demanded. "Hi.." I greeted him wryly.
"Ouch. That's hurt. I won't get a kiss or a hug?" Matsuo pretended like he's hurting as he held his fist to his chest. I immediately rolled my eyes at him. "Mum, what is he doing here?" I turned my attention to my mum.
"Oh, I'm here to meet my mother-in-law." Matsuo answered for her instead of my mum. W-what...?!
"In your dreams, Matsuo-kun. You're not forgiven yet."
"Does that mean I will be forgiven someday? Because you did add 'yet' this word." Matsuo teased playfully while I glared at him.
"Oh, cut it out you two. You two are arguing like a married couple." Mum giggled like a schoolgirl. I cleared my throat, trying to hide the blush on my cheeks whilst Matsuo grinning cheek to cheek.
"Anyway, would you like a cup of tea, Matsuo-kun?" Mum broke the awkwardness and smiling sweetly to him. "No thanks, Mrs. Nakashima. I just want to see how's wife my doing." He replied smirkingly.
I snorted out before going back to my room and resumed the book I was reading.

While I was doing my usual job in my desk, a familiar voice voiced above me and apparently, she's asking me about something. I dropped my works and looked up to see the doom.
Akane Kobayashi was here.
What the hell is she doing here?? Isn't she's living back with her parents? I frowned lightly, not to get notice it by her. But unfortunately, she saw it. She observed me before her mouth formed an 'O' in shock. Yet, she quickly covered it with disgusting and hatred on her face.
I faked a smile "Ma'am, do you need something?"
"Ma'am? Do I look like an old lady to you?" Akane scowled at me. I can hear the rage bubbling in her head. "Ah ha ha. That's a funny joke, ma'am." I provoked her sarcastically, still smiling.
"Thank you." She gritted her teeth before continuing "And you, haven't change a bit."
"I take that as a compliment, ma'am."
Before that head of hers can erupt, Matsuo came out from his office and surprised that Akane was here. He gazed her, then at me, and back to her again. "What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be with your parents?" Matsuo had one of his hand on his waist.
Akane literally ran to him with those high heels. How can she runs with those without tripping over? "I'm worry about you, so~ I came to check you. Apparently, there's a witch here bothering you. Then how about we go for lunch, honey?" She said flirtatiously with him, making the 'witch' word sounding like a curse in her mouth.
I presumed that 'witch', who she was referring was me. Well, I don't care. She's far okay than me because she's an ugly old hag. HAH! That's a new nickname. I'm proud of myself. (^.^)
"No, Akane. I'm busy." Matsuo swiftly rejected her offer. "Besides, I have a date with Miss Rei-chan." I do?
I eyed Matsuo in confuse as he gave me an eye to tell me to play on it. I directly knew the meaning, standing up to Matsuo. I held his arm while Akane gave me a deadly glare but I ignored it.
"That's right. Matsuo-kun and I are planning to have lunch together." Akane turned her attention to Matsuo from me, begging him to tell her this wasn't true but in return, Matsuo just giving her blank look. "So honey, let's go now. We don't want waste our time on this old lady." I informed him.
Matsuo laughed "Let's go then." He smirked. We left together, leaving Akane there standing shock and angry. After we were miles away from that old hag, we stopped as I released his arm. We're face to face to each other.
"That's a nice acting." He praised me with a grin. "You should thank me from saving you that old hag." I huffed out. Matsuo chuckled "So 'old lady' changes into 'old hag', huh? I like it."
"Yeah yeah. I thought you like her?" I stated, well more like a question. "No, I don't. But..." He trailed off before narrowing his eyes and added "Were you jealous?"
I scoffed "Pfft! Of course not." I didn't dare to meet his eyes as he'll see right through me. "Rei-chan, look at me." Matsuo suddenly demanded. I can't help but obliged him. Our eyes met, his eyes full with unreadable feelings. His eyes, it's like pulling me in. Then he smirked, making me brought back to reality.
"Ohh, you were jealous, young lady." He spoke out with a playful smirk. "Am not!" I crossed my arms and turned my head pouting. Okay, I admitted inside that I am jealous and I sounded like a child.
"So how about I treat you, for lunch. To make it up to you?" He offered with a smile. I nodded slowly, setting down my folding arms. Matsuo grabbed my hand, dragging me towards to exit.
