Living Together Under A Roof [Anime]

Chapter 13

The ball was just amazing. We arrived at our school hall in about 5 minutes ago and I was still staring at this fancy ball. Everyone and every each of them was dressed in elegant, fabulous or whatsoever!

Haru and Matsuo had separated away from me to have some fun so I'm here myself doing nothing and don't know what to do. As I searched amongst the people, I found Matsuo was surrounded by a group of flirty girls. They were admired by his attractive look and trying to get attention from Matsuo but it seemed that he ignored them.

So what am I going to do now? Ohh! Yes I forgot! They served some food as well. I half walked half ran towards the table which was filled in delicious food. I grabbed my plate and began to picked out some food. Afterwards, my plate looked like a moutain of food, almost.

I stuffed them in my mouth little by little 'til it's finished. I'm full~

I grabbed a glass of water and drank it. Then I put the glass down and let out 'Ahh' in saticfaction. That's when Haru came over and spoke with me.

"Having fun?" Haru smirked at me.

"Kinda...well actually I'm not"

"Why?"

"'Cause there's nothing to do here except eating" I sighed.

"Well do you wanna dance?" Haru held out his hand in front of me like a gentleman.

"But I don't know how to dance" I informed him.

"Don't worry. I'll teach you how to dance" Before I knew it he took my hand and guided me to the dancing hall.

He put one of his hand on my waist as the other hand holding my hand. My other hand was put on Haru's shoulder. We waltz, following to the music but I stepped on his foot most of the times he taught me.

He kept saying 'it's ok' but I know it must be hurt so bad. I can't help but felt guilty. Anyway it didn't took long to teach me but I knew how to waltz. It's just easy, just like Haru said.

And the matter of fact is I was enjoying myself.

"You've done it!" Haru exclaimed happily.

"I know. Dancing really is fun" I giggled while waltzing with him.

He chuckled back "How about we get some fresh air outside and rest?"

I nodded, letting Haru led me out the hall. Outside, I found a bench and quickly sat on it, along with Haru. Stretching my sore legs from all the dancing as I breathe in.

Suddenly, Haru was leaning close to me. His face was 2 or 3 inches from me. His eyes looked down on my lips. I leaned back a bit. There's a voice inside me saying...

This is wrong! Get away from him when you have the chance.

And I immediately pushed him lightly with my hands and he leaned back.

"What's wrong?" Haru questioned me curiously.

"N-nothing...I just feel that it's....wrong" I answered him honestly.

"Oh" was an answer for me.

The awkward situation went on and nobody dare to speak first. But I did it.

"Umm...I'm gonna go inside..." Up to my feet, walking back inside.

I scanned around the people to search for Matsuo's shadow but he's not anywhere. Where could have he been?
While I was searching for me, someone patted my shoulder.

"Looking for me?" I turned around at the familiar voice.

"Well...yeah..." I looked down and began to fiddle with my fingers.

Then Matsuo took my chin and kissed me on my lips. I widened my eyes in surprise. This was the second he had kissed me but I quickly relaxed in his arms. Everyone in the hall turned their head to watch the amazing scene.

He pulled back when I was almost out of breathe. His face was still close to me as he smirked. Since when he's in a good mood? But what does that kiss mean? It's full of passion and emotional.

Matsuo straightened himself and stared at me playfully.

"I assume you have questions to ask me?" He guessed thoughtfully.

"Yes. First, why do you buy this dress for without telling me?" I finally asked out the question that was buried in my mind like forever.

"Well it's a reward for you, for taking good care of me." He smiled but an evil smile I tell ya.

"Oh-kay..."I spoke out the word longer before asking again "Umm...I know this is a weird question but...why did you kiss me?" I was completely red and embarrassed. I kept my head down, waiting for his answer.

I heard him groaned and he mumbled so soft that I can't hear.

"Huh?" I looked up and frowned but shocked when I saw his blushing face.

Matsuo then groaned again and scratched the back his head before replying "Because I like you" This time, although it's not that loud but I can hear it as clear as a crystal.

He likes me?

Is this a joke?

No, he's not joking. He's serious about this!

And he likes me?!

Right now I was dumbfounded, in the same place, staring at Matsuo with my shocking expression ever! Nah, just kidding. Well, my mouth formed an 'o' though as my mind trying to not believe the fact that he actually likes me!!

"Umm...hello? Rei-chan to earth" Matsuo snapped his fingers, waving his hand in front of me to make me come back.

I brought back from my thought as I choked out 3 words "You like me?"

Matsuo gave me small nod in embarrassment.

"Can you be my girlfriend?" He asked me with a bit of courage but still in embarrassed a little bit.

When Matsuo confessed his like to me, my heart was like beating so fast and yet happy in excitement.

"Yes" I agreed without thinking. Don't know but I just felt like it's the right to do.

This time, it was Matsuo's turn to be shock.

"Wh-what?" He asked with a bit happy tone.

"I said I will be your girlfriend" I spoke it out but volume down when I mentioned 'girlfriend'. I looked away while blushing hard.

All of the sudden Matsuo hugged me so hard that I can't breathe but he gladly let me go just a second. Then he kissed me again, I'm not shock but relaxed.

Today was probably my luckiest day ever.
                                                                         
A/N: How is it?! Matsuo finally confessed to Rei but it's not happily after yet. There's still more things going on in the next chapter so be ready! Oh, Rei doesn't she's in love with Matsuo yet but she will in future~
