Today was the day we went back to the company. It was a tired trip. Matsuo informed me to get myself home and rest and get ready for work tomorrow. As soon as I got back home, I directly laid in the bed on my stomach when I saw my bed. So comfortable and soft...

"Rei-chan! Please come downstairs!" Mum yelled loudly for me to hear. My groan was muffled by the bed. I was just going to sleep and mum had destroyed my dream! So I decided to ignore her.

"Rei Nakashima. Come downstairs and help me with something. You can't neither ignore or escaping away from me ." Mum yelled with her serious tone. She never called my full name unless it's something important. With that, I went downstairs.

Mum had her head inside the fridge at the kitchen, checking what's there left.

"Mum...what is it?" I whined lazily as I leaned against the doorframe. "Oh, you're here!" She said. She put too much attention the the fridge until never aware that I'm here. Mum stopped in front of me, pocketing out a list and handed it to me. I looked at the paper with a frown before reading it.

Grocery List
1. Eggs x5
2. Flour
...

I stopped reading after that and stared at my mum. "Mum...is this the important things you want me to do?"

"Yes, go and buy. Shoo shoo."Mum went back to what she was doing. She just shooed me! "But mum....!" I grumbled. "No buts, young lady. Otherwise there'll be no dinner for you tonight." She finally announced, which it sent shock to me. "Mum, how could you!" I scowled at my mum. Mum ignored me though. I sighed, heading upstairs and changed.

Picking up a tomato, examining it before putting it in the trolley and grabbed a few more. I pushed the trolley, turning a corner and found the eggs. Out of the blue I saw Matsuo a few foot from here, looking left and right boredly. Then he brightened up when he spotted me.

"What are you doing here?" Matsuo asked as he came beside me.

"Isn't it obvious? What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to buy...some stuffs." I rose an eyebrow at his answer.

"Oh, really? 'Cause you don't seem like a guy who would buy stuffs in this normal grocery shop."

"You don't know me well."

"What do you mean?" I faced him, wrinkling my eyebrows curiously.

Matsuo leaned down merely an ince from my face. I blinked many times at this...sudden distance. Matsuo smirked and quickly gave me a peck at my cheek. I blushed immediately, backing a few steps from him. "What are you doing? We're out in public!" I lowered down my voice with my widen eyes staring at him.

"I don't care where we are." He straightened himself chuckling. Even though I was angry at him, yet my heart fluttered when he pecked my cheek. I cleared my throat, pushing the trolley and to the other place where I can't see him. Unlucklily, he followed him.

Just ignore him and everything will be fine.

With thought, I decided to ignore him.

"Hey. Are you ignoring me?" Matsuo followed behind me. I focused on the groceries. He hugged suddenly from behind as I squeaked in response. "Let go of me!" This is embarrassing!

"Now you dare to not acknowledge me?" I shook my head as he released me. Sighing in relief, thinking that Matsuo was gonna torture the rest of my day.

I stepped in the elevator of the company and pressed number 4. The doors was about to close when a familiar and sweet voice called out "Wait!"

The person pushed opened the doors as she panted. She looked up surprisingly finding that it was me. Straightened herself as she cleared her throat, tried to recover her embarrassment before stepping in.

"What are you doing here?" I broke the silence that surrounded amongst us. "Well, I'm here to find my Matsuo." Akane answered smugly, secretly rolling her eyes at me. I of course witnessed that move "Didn't we make it clear that day? It's obvious that he don't like you."

"Then I will make him fall in love with me. I will not get beaten by you again!" She guarenteed with confidence and hope. As her voice dropped, the elevator doors opened. Akane took her feet to Matsuo's office and went in without knocking. I sighed, walking over my desk and started my works. Thinking that girl was still the same from two years ago.

The day went by fast than usual. I cleaned up and grabbed my bag. I thought it would be rude to leave Matsuo without being inform. So I entered his office after knocking. Matsuo lift his eyes to find me in his office. "Is there anything you want?" His elbows rested on the desk, entwined his fingers as his chin on them.

"I'm just going to say that I'll be going home now." I told him with a sweet smile. I was about to turn and walk, yet Matsuo stopped me. "Wait Rei."

I faced him "Yes?"

"Are you free this Saturday?"

My smile dropped and it replaced with confusion. "Umm...since I got nothing to do on Saturday so– "

He cut me off before I can say the next word "I want to take you on a date." He was rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

A date? I tried hard to stifle my laugh but couldn't as I bursted into laughter until I was holding my stomach. "Hahaha...that's a good joke." I remarked, wiped off the happy tears. Once I regained myself, I waited for Matsuo to say 'Thanks' or 'You're right!' with a laugh; Apparently, nope. He didn't say anything.

"Is it a joke?"

"It's not a joke." He said sighing. My heart filled with happiness, wondering what were we going to do at our date. Yet I didn't show out my expression to let him know about it.

"Uhh...well..." — I cleared my throat "Sure then." Crossing my arms in front my chest as I avoided to look at Matsuo. He grinned at my answer before saying "You can go home."

Then I got home with a smile on my face that can't seem to take it off.

A/N: DANG DANG! Ooo~ a date? Finally, they're going on a date! Do the date goes well? We just have to find out in the next chapter. I'll update as soon as possible.
