TRINITY'S P.O.V.
I tossed my blonde hair up into a high ponytail as we were about to begin cheer. I had been in cheer since seventh grade and we had the crappiest coach ever. She was such a bitch. Thankfully, freshman year, we got a new coach who made us better by eighty thousand percent. I slipped on my soffee shorts and put on my cutoff as I was interrupted by who you would think was my life-long friend.
"Trinity, what do you think about Al's new friend?!?!?!" Faith winked and screeched with excitement. Thank GOD no one knew who were, which was the best feeling EVER.
"He's pretty hot. And I think he's pretty into her!" I reply.
"Yeah...he's gorgeous! Oh my gosh. What if they get married? What if they start dating all throughout college? What if he's a senior? What if he's taken? What if he likes me? What if he thinks you're hot? What if he's unfaithful? What if-"
"Yes, he's gorgeous, I hope so, they'd be super cute, uh doubt it, did you see the way he was looking at her, no, no, and let's hope not. Now shut your filthy dumb mouth before something bad happens. Geez," I cut Faith off. Golly, she's such a worrier. God bless her soul.
"True. I wonder if we'll meet any guys...." Faith ponders.
"Well....we're KINDA cheerleaders..I mean, we're hard to miss." I point.
"True. But Al's in choir....everyone misses them, no offense."
"But what if this college's choir is kickass?"
"THEN AL'S GONNA GET ALL THE DAMN BOYS."
"HAHAHAHAHA, not if we're stereotypical cheerleaders and become anorexic and lift our skirts up 24/7. Besides, Al's also cheer manager and in theater."
"Trin...look at us go! Haha, except, you know we can't go a day without a food. Hash tag fat girl probs!" she yells. Now, all the cheerleaders are staring at us, and unfortunately, they looks exactly like the stereotypical cheerleaders I made fun of. Greeeeaaaaaaaaattttttttt.
"Looks like we're gonna have some amazing basemen...haha!" a bleach blonde who looks like a twig yells. Awesome. Way to go, cheer reputation. Faith and I just shake it off as we end our conversation and practice finally starts.
*****
The last way I wanted to start my freshman year was being late to my academic classes.
"I'm so sorry! Cheer was let ou-"
"No excuses in college. Take a seat. Be thankful there's no serious attendance, missy." the professor shouts in front of the whole class, embarrassing me. Woo.
"No worries, hot stuff. I came in point three five seconds before you. No biggie. Is this your first year, too?" a strange voice whispered to me. Great. I sat down next to a hot guy and I'm at the end of the row. Looks like he'll be the only person I'll be talking to during this whole semester.
"Ha. Ha." I laughed sarcastically. I hadn't even looked at the kid.
"Don't you wanna know who I am?" he was flirting.
"Don't YOU wanna know who I am?!" I sass.
"C'mon! You haven't even answered my first question!!" he was getting upset.
"Hi. I'm Trinity. Got it? Kaybye." I was NOT going to get hurt again. High school was a pain in my rear end, I didn't need to have jerks in my life.
"Hey. I'm Brandon. Nice to meet you too..." he answered, actually sounding hurt.
"I'm sorry. I'm Trinity! I'm from Arkansas!" I tried again, reaching for his hand.
"Hahahey, I'm Brandon! I'm from Michigan!" he firmly shook my hand sending an electric current throughout my entire body.
"Ouch!" I squeaked.
"What?" he looked worried.
"Oh, nothing. I just have a tiny paper cut on that hand and you squeezed it. No biggie!" I lied.
"Haha, good!" he laughed, causing his blonde hair to to tumble on his left eye. He ran a hand through his hair, pushing it back, and blinked his crystal clear eyes. Those eyes.....golly.....
"Wow..." I thought our loud.
"Hmmwhat?" he mumbled, looking back at me.
"Nothing. I just....looked at all these...academic classes that are mandatory!" I lied again.
"Oh yeah. Hey, looks like we have chemistry next! Wanna be my partner, partner?" he asked, winking.
"Well....I have three friends and they're not in here....but we have the rest of our classes together and we-"
"It's cool. The least you could do is introduce me!" he suggested.
I hesitated for a minute and finally agreed. Hopefully, Faith had met a guy, and hopefully, Al has more classes with John, cause I don't want college to be a high school repeat.
"Good morning class! Today we're going to introduce ourselves-" I tuned out the professor, being too invloved with the conversation Brandon and I were having.
BRANDON'S P.O.V.
Trinity is so gorgeous! She's also super interesting. The flush she had in her cheeks from cheer was starting to fade, making her green eyes even greener. Her blonde, curly hair was perfectly put into a messy braid. And she had on the cutest outfit. It...it almost matched mine.
"Woah!" I thought aloud.
"What, haha!"
"We're almost matching!"
"Haha, me and my friends are actually matching, just different colors! But this, this is PRETTY cool!" she answers.
"Almost...almost as cool as you." I say meaningfully. Gorgeous. I think to myself as her flush returns.
TRINITY'S P.O.V.
Wat. Did he just call me cool. Wat. My heart feels like it's going to fall out of my butt! I giggle as I quote Mean Girls to myself.
"Yeah...too bad I'm not as cool as you.." WELL PLAYED!
"Hahaha!" ASDFGHJKL DAT LAUGH. Wow...college.....college is going to be great.....♥
