ALISON'S P.O.V.
Song of the Chapter: #WhiteGirlProblems by Hoodie Allen
Flashback to freshman year of highschool.
This is going to be the worst day of my life. I moved to this school a few years ago and I'm still an outcast. I've never been pretty or athletic or good at basically anything. But that's going to change.
I had decided to give myself an Extreme Makeover: Alison Remington Edition. New wardrobe. New makeup. New hair style. Contact Lenses. Everything.
I breathed sharply though my nose as I stared at the building, terrified if I was recognizable. My mom drove off as she gave me my lunch.
"Be good, sweetheart! Make new friends and don't do anything bad! Have a good first day!" she smiled as she shouted though the window. We shared our love as she left and I continued staring.
As I glanced over my schedule, I realized I had twenty minutes to kill. I rushed to the bathroom, not paying attention to my surroundings. Within seconds, I was on the ground seeing as how I had ran into two girls blocking the entrance.
"Dudes.. seriously?" I muttered, 99% pissed. I put my hand to my forehead and propped up on my left elbow to lean me forwards on the ground.
"Maybe you should watch where you're going," the brunette shot back. Her voice was raspy and loud, but it was like Miley Cyrus raspy.
"Seriously. You almost knocked us down. Like....come on," the blonde said. Her voice was nasly, kind of like Jeannette McCurdy's.
Were they seriously blaming me for falling because they were in the way? Who just stands in front of a public bathroom?
I stood up and dusted myself dramatically.
"I'll have you know," I started.
"Chill, we're totally joking! We're really sorry! We were just, ya know, testing you to see if you could handle our 'rudeness'!" the blonde giggled. I was suddenly taken back, intrigued by the girls. I tilted my head as I scanned both of their eyes and they seemed to be doing the same to me.
I decided it was time to break the silence.
"I broke my nail,"
"Come on, I have a nail file!" the brunette tugged me into the restroom.

Looking back on how I met my two best friends in the whole world, I thought about how strange it was. It was almost too coincidental. But it felt right. It felt like it was supposed to happen like that stupid blonde who always opens the door only to find a murderer in a horror movie.
But what was happening now? I don't know. Now the boys are involved and we're kelting and there's this stupid gazebo that lets us see each other and that's why I'm in the campus library for the first time right now.
Desperate for an answer, I had about every single book that has relation to fantasy, mystic, kelting, mental connections, telepathy, and coincidences.
So far, I felt as lucky as a lobster in a tank at Red Lobster.
Ugh, what I'd kill for a Mocha Cookie Crumble frap from Starbucks. I thought as I massaged my temples.
White girl. John kelted.
Yup. This connection thing is ruining my life.
"Relax," he kelted again. Or so I thought.
He tapped my right shoulder causing me to turn around. He stood there, his eyes blue as ever. He was smiling and held a piece of Heaven in a cup before my eyes. I smiled so brightly at him, practically beaming as my hands were greeted by the chill of the iced coffee.
John leaned down so we could be face to face. He stared me in the eyes just to stare. He noticed the green I had in the southwest part of my left eye when we first met and it became his favorite thing about me because he had the same green spot.
He gently cupped my face with both of his hands and I could feel his warm breath on my neck. I set down my drink, knowing I'd soon touch him.
"Hey," he breathed. And before I could respond, he talked again.
"This is our life now. It's not by chance either. I had a dream and it made me realize we all met because we're perfect for each other. Perfect," expecting an I love you, I held my gaze in his eyes, but he finished my first lightly brushing his thumb over lips, then kissing them softly. It was so soft, it felt like his lips were just dancing lightly over mine. So that's when I kissed him back, moving my hands to his shoulders.
I tugged on his bottom lip gently, knowing it drove him wild. He smiled and laughed through his nose, sending air towards my face. I inhaled, causing John to cup my face slightly tighter.
I love you so much.
I love you too, Al.
We released each other, but left our hands in the same place.
"So, there's this boy I like," I teased, placing my hands in my lap. John took turned the seat next to me backwards and sat in it A.C. Slater style. I faced forwards, so John was looking at my right side.
"Oh yeah?" he asked. "Tell me about him," he crossed his arms teasingly.
"Well," I started, "He's cute. Super cute. I don't know if he's noticed me yet though..but when he smiles and laughs....oh man. That laugh transports me to another world. And that body!...eh, it's okay," I smiled as he laughed.
"Anything else?" he smiled.
"Oh yeah! He knows how to wear clothes. Definitely good taste in clothing," I joked.
"Anything else?" he sounded a tad irritated.
"Yeah," I sighed, "his eyes. They're..beautiful. I could stare into them for days and not notice that it's a different day. When I stare into them...my heart beats faster than Jen Ledger beats the drums. And..they're sincere and th-they make me st-stutter just talking about them-them. I don't know," I ran my hand though my hair, "It's like...when I look at his eyes...I see his life..his story...I don't see a reflection. I see.." I stopped.
"Hey," he said quietly, "you see what?"
I couldn't finish. I couldn't tell him that since the gazebo I could see the future in his eyes....our future.
He lifted his hand and I squinted my eyes. This is what I saw. He's gonna slap me.
His right hand went up and over my face as he slapped his hand onto my left cheek bringing me to look at his face which was just centimeters from mine and before I could wince he kissed me again with the same passion.
I did not see this coming... I thought as I melted into his lips.
I know. He kelted and although I didn't physically feel it, he smiled.
"Can you guys get a room? Like, we know you two are the cutest campus couple or whatever, but seriously? Stahp," Gabriel said.
I laughed and looked at John as he began laughing too because we didn't know what to do anymore. I had given up on searching because obviously this is our life now. But....what do we do now?
