Trinity's P.O.V.
Song of the Chapter: Taking Over the World by Coyote Theory
Everything at this point is a disaster. No one knows what's going on. Everyone has packed except for Al because she's passed out by the beach. But no one wants to leave. It's like a tapestry; it takes forever for things to be put in its place, but after days of rearranging, it's beautiful. Just a beautiful disaster like things are right now.
Feeling beyond guilty about last night, I gave everyone the bird right up in their face, and headed out to find my best friend. I made sure to grab my phone and a towel too. Faith can screw off for feeling no guilt whatsoever.
<What the hell was that for Trin?
> For being a bad friend to Al.
With that, I turned off my phone.

"And that's what happened..." I finished telling Al what happened after I found her. She was propped up on her elbows, dazed off in the ocean when I found her. She was munching on saltines and sipping on Sprite. In other words, she's a hot mess.
"Damn," she whispered.
"Yup," I whispered.
"Why haven't you all left yet if you're all packed then?" she asked out loud.
"Because we love you. It may show negative one hundred percent, but we do care about you.."
She sat there silently picking at her week old french tip gel manicure.
"Tell you what; let's go to the club again tonight. Just me and you. No drinks. Just fun!" I offered.
"I'd like that!!" Al squealed. With that, I offered her a hand after I pushed myself up from my towel.

I pushed open the door to the beach house and greeted everyone by calling them ugly mofos. They were all yelling until they saw I dragged Al in.
With that, I smirked and trotted to her room leaving everyone shocked.
"This or this?" Al held up two dresses. One was a classic red dress with a sweetheart line above the chest. There were sparkles that went from the middle of the chest then separated to go under each and crossover in the back only to come back to the front and line the bottom of the dress. The other was black but the top was all silver sequins. In the right lighting, they were rainbow. The hem was a-line and was a little above mid thigh.
"Red," I smiled. With that, she tossed it to me.
"For you...?" I finished, puzzled.
"No. You wear it. I'll wear the black one! Be bold, Trin. It's your time to shine," she said.
She was right. I've never been one to want to be the center of attention, even being a cheerleader and all. Red is the boldest color basically ever and I had no idea if my blonde hair and green eyes could pull it off. But there's always a first for everything.
*****
As I finished cat-eyeing my left eye, I stepped back from mirror, tilting my head contemplating if I was satisfied. I had straightened my hair to make it look longer than it actually was, but I pinned my bangs back to the left so my hair wouldn't get in my way.
As for my makeup, I had primed my lids to glitter them. The inner corner with silver, middle with gold, and the outter with black. The eyeliner only accentuated my green eyes and especially the glittery-eyeshadow. I only powdered my face with foundation because there was no need to cake up on foundation if it's just gonna sweat off.
For this occasion, I glued on some lashes, cat eye of course, and when they dried, I wiped them with none other than Maybelline's Cat Eye mascara as I nonchalantly sang the jingle.
The last thing I needed to do to finish the look were my lips. I grabbed my bold red lip butter because hullo. Lipstick and lip gloss in one.
With that, I mentally nodded for my satisfaction and slipped on my strappy silver heels.
I barged out of Al's bathroom grabbing my phone and took two steps past the door as my jaw dropped before I even had a chance to understand what was before me.
Al usually always looks flawless..but tonight...she was the definition of perfection.
She wanded her hair with a two inch barrel so that it wasn't too curly, but not lifeless. Her smile was curtained by a pair of pale pink lips that only she could pull off. She too primed her eyelids to glitter them with a dark yet light gold to make her blue eyes stand out. She lined her eyes with a dark grey eyeliner and winged them slightly. Her natural eyelashes were professionally coated seeing as how they touched her eyebrows. Speaking of which, one statement. EYE BROW GAME STRONG.
"Dayyyyuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm!" we giggled looking each other up and down twice over.
We snapped a few individual selfies then did typical white girl pictures together for Instagram.
"Are you ready?" I breathed as I layed a Listerine Breath Strip upon my tongue.
"Ready as ever!" Alison smiled. She was slipping on her simple black heels when we heard a knock on the door.
Nodding my head, silently warning Al that was our cue, she delicately opened her window as I began coughing and sniffling.
"Agh..f word. I feel like s word. I'm so effing sick I can't effing cuss. S word!" "F word me either. I think we should go to sleep," moaned Al from outside the beachhouse.
Crossing my fingers, I squeezed my eyes shut only to be pleased with the sound of footsteps leaving the door.
I quickly hopped out of the window and closed it, squealing at what we'd just accomplished.
I felt like I could conquer the world.
