JOHN'S P.O.V.

Song of the Chapter: P.D.A. (We Just Don't Care) by John Legend

Thinking of Alison and only of Alison almost twenty four seven was like a sickness. That girl knows me like the back of her hand and the best thing is that I don't have to worry about her wanting to drop me like a hat because for a first girlfriend, she's the best girlfriend. I didn't care to display my affection towards her in front of everyone. I would pull her up onto the stage Justin Bieber performs on at every concert to show everyone how much I love her. Her eyes probably make me as crazy as mine make her and it was a tingly sensation that felt right.

I was on my way to my dorm until I realized where I was.

The crazy gazebo.

It was intriguing, really. The way the inside looked the complete opposite from the outside..I suppose it was a metaphor for the six of us.

*Flashback to freshman year of high school.*

Being the small town boy I was, I pulled up in the school parking lot fairly early. I didn't have a license or a truck, but my dad had a truck and I had a hardship. My 2012 white Chevy Silverado with red and blue LED lights inside, lifted, BOSE sound system, and a five inch muffler is enough to make even a city girl jump in front of me. I parked next to a Range Rover which was parked next to GMC Sierra that was lifted, red, and single cab. Wait....a Range Rover?

I lowered my window to holler.

"Hey Range!" I shouted.

A blonde with blue eyes rolled down the window.

"Sup, Ford," he said unsure of himself.

"Bro, that's a Chevy...." GMC shouted. He had old Bieber hair and green eyes. I turned off my dad's baby and hopped out to talk to these kids.

"Freshman?" Range asked.

"Yeah, you?" I asked.

"Yup," they said in unison.

"Schedule?" GMC asked, pulling his schedule out after he jumped out of his truck.

I pulled mine out and hand Range's to GMC after he handed it me.

"...bruh..." GMC whispered..

"Sup?" Range and I asked in unison.

"We have the same classes....."

Range was the last to step out of his vehicle. When GMC handed me my schedule, the two dudes just stared me in the eyes, and for some reason, I did the same to them. It was awkward.

"Bro...how are you driving if you're driving a Range Rover?" I broke the silence.

"My dad's a cop," he shrugged as we laughed and looked for a place, anxious to begin the day. It was really hard though. After we had left and locked our vehicles, assumptions were crazy.

"Are they millionaires?" "Are they loaded?" "How many cars do they have?" "Where do they live?"

It was hard to have a conversation with anyone but my dudes. I later found out that Range is Brandon and GMC is Chad which I totally did not expect because Chad is....Chad and Brandon is actually really smart. We understood each other perfectly because well, we were rich, but we didn't want to rub that it because our parents already rub it in enough. I was pretty lucky to find the coolest chumps a dude could find.

Looking back on that day, I smiled because I noticed where we are now. We're all mentally connected and if that's not a real friendship, I don't know what is.

Before I knew it, I was scanning my campus ID to enter the gazebo. It looked just as sleek as the last time, yet just as mysterious. It was kind of like a small resort minus a pool.

Just like the first time, I was drawn to go towards the middle, but I had to resist. Maybe resisting would end it all.

Wrong. As if a magnet was pulling me, I was drawn to the middle and in the blink of an eye, I fell asleep.

Alison was on Google, not even trying to research anymore. She held a cup of Orange Leaf fro-yo and was messing around on her MacBook Pro. Brandon was practicing football with the team and he had just tackled someone. Trinity was catching up on some way overdue homework. She was in the library. Chad was at....piano lessons? What?? Faith was on Instagram....always on Instagram. Does she even have a life?

"I do have a life, thanks for asking," Faith shot.

Holy balls she can hear my thoughts.

I woke up, taking a deep breath expecting to hypervenalate like last time, but I guess that once we all slept and woke up, we grew accustomed to it.

<Don't tell ANYONE about my piano lessons.

> Aight

> Fancy fingers ;)

<Bruh.
