Today I am going to check out the house me and Cameron bought. We decided it would be a good idea to move in together. The house is beautiful but I really need to decorate my room. Luckily it came already furnished so we wont have to move all of our stuff.
I approach the house and pull out my key to open the door but it's already unlocked. Weird. Cameron must have forgotten to lock it last night.
I walk in and turn on the light. I walk up to my room and set the paint cans that I was holding down. I've decided to paint my room mint blue and white. As I wait for Cameron to arrive and help me paint I sit on the couch and watch TV.
As I'm watching TV I hear a crash from the kitchen. I instantly jump up. I creep towards the kitchen holding my breath. What if someone is in my kitchen? I slowly peep around the door to see pots all over the floor and the window wide open. What the fuck? I slowly walk in, being cautious of my surroundings, and I put all of the pots back where they should be and I also close the window. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little freaked out.
Just then the door opens and I freeze.
"Riley?" I hear Cameron call my name.
I let out a sigh, "in here," I shout back. He walks in and stops at the door,
"what happened?" He asks
"Um, I was getting something and I accidentally knocked all of the pots over." I lie
"Oh, okay." He shrugs and walks away.
I didn't tell Cameron because I don't want to worry him. Besides, I really like this house and I know if I tell him he'll make us move out.

My room was finally finished and I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of myself.
I lie down on my bed and think about earlier today. Maybe someone was in my house? I mean the door was unlocked, the window was open and the pots were knocked all over the floor. It's all a little sketchy if you ask me...
I decide to go on the group chat we all made to take my mind off of things.
