Chapter 5

Everyone is out doing stuff apart from me. Calum is recording with Luke, Cameron is hanging out with Aaron, Kayla is shopping with her mom and Emily is in LA for the weekend. Even my mom has left me to have a girls day with her friends.

I feel my phone buzz and pull it out of my pocket,

Mikey: Hey we should hang out today

Riley: do you mean as friends or a fake couple?

Mikey: We could do the couple thing I guess

Riley: ok

Riley: come over

I guess I'm not going to me only all day.

I run upstairs to get ready since I am still in my pjs. I grab a pair of black leggings and my big red 'magcon' hoodie, along with my black converse. I put on a light layer of mascara and debate on weather to wear a beanie or not. I really love beanies but I don't want to get too warm. Maybe I should just take one in my backpack so if I change my mind I can put one on.

I grab my black leather backpack and put my phone, wallet, mascara and beanie inside. I put a couple of hair ties on my wrist and wait for Michael downstairs.

After a few minutes later I hear a knock on the door. I get up to answer it but instead of Michael being stood there I see no one. I poke my head around the door looking both ways but I still see no one. I slowly close the door with a confused look on my face.

Maybe Michael is just playing a prank on me? Surely he would of knock again by now. Besides when I look outside his car wasn't there.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little freaked out...

"Michael!" I screech

"Sorry," he says, holding back his laugh.

I wipe the ice cream, that Michael put on my nose, off before laughing with him.

We walk hand in hand down the sidewalk, "this has been the best fake date I've ever been on." I say

"How many other guys are you fake dating?" He raises an eyebrow, smirking at me.

I roll my eyes. "Do you want to hang out at mine for a bit?" I ask

"Sure," he shrugs.

We sit on my couch.

"Hey Riles is that you?" Cameron shouts from upstairs,

"Yeah, and Michael's here." I shout back.

He comes down the stairs, "hey," he says, jumping over the back of the sofa and sitting next to me.

"I thought you were out with Aaron?" I say

"Ah, yeah, um, he had to go home, family emergency or something," He says

"Okay."

I text our group chat so I can see what everyone is doing.

Riley: Heyoooooo

Kayla: sup

Riley: i thought u were shopping with ur mom

Kayla: yeh she got tired so we went home

Calum: hiiiiiiiiiii

Riley: k

Riley: hi

Kayla: im gonna go take a nap

Riley: its like 5 pm

Kayla: so?

Riley: nothing

Calum: what r u guys doing

Riley: well i just went on a fake date with mikey

Riley: and now me mikey and cam r hanging out at mine

Calum: am i invited

Riley: nah

Calum: fu

Riley: :)

Calum: :(

Calum: im coming over anyways

Riley: wat if i dont let u in?

Calum: u never lock ur door

Calum: so ill just walk in

Calum: :P

Luke: heeey

Riley: hemmings!

Riley: your here

Calum: *your're

Riley: soz

Luke: wats every1 doing

Riley: hanging at mine

Riley: wanna come

Luke: alright

Luke: be over in a sec

Luke: by in a sec i mean about 15 mins

Luke: and by 15 mins i mean about an hour

Riley: why will it take u an hour to get to mine

Riley: u literally live a 5 min walk away

Luke: im lazy k

Riley: k

Calum: riley im at ur door

Riley: i thought u said u were gonna just walk in

Calum: well u actually locked to door for once

Riley: shut up im coming

I get up from my sofa to go and let Calum in. "Sup boi," I say, moving to the side so he can walk in,

"Sup gurl," he says back.

We're weird.

"Is that Hood I hear?" Michael shouts from the couch

"Clifford?" Calum shouts back

"Best Friend!" Michael says as he runs in to hug Calum. They look like girls who haven't seen each other for months.

I walk into the living room, leaving those two to have their bromance.

"You have weird friends..." Cameron says

"I know," I say, sitting down next to him.
