I swiped right to answer and it was Codin. He was my ex! The only one who could get me through my parents divorce
"How did you get my email?" I asked politely.
"Don't you remember us exchanging emails?" He questioned. I'm the kind of girl who could forget to do stuff most of the time even if I give myself a reminder. Codin and I dated for 2 years and 3 months. He was the popular boy in school. The one everybody would fall head over heels in love with. Out of all the girls in school he noticed me. The quiet girl. He was the one I could trust. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like Codin anymore. We broke up because I got a threat letter saying if I did not back away from Codin, I'd be kicked out of school. Codin does not know about that though but feelings are still mutual. We definitely are still friends but not in school just to be safe. I knew exactly why he called and he went straight to the point ( one of the things I love about him).
"Why don't you talk to me in school," he asked in a very low voice " I still want to talk to you at least."
" Codin, there is reasons for everything." I said.
" That's why I'm asking Jane," He shouted " Jane, you didn't give me a reason."
In my mind I wanted to shout out the truth but I knew I couldn't if I didn't want him hurt because he will fight for what he wants.
" Some reasons have to be a secret, Codin." Before he could answer back I ended the call. I took more selfies and by the time I took my 268th selfie it was midnight so I went to bed.
