I looked around my room in panic. Not being in love with someone is different than caring for someone. I then pressed Th button to call the nurse as Tyra and Diana walked in.
"Is there something wrong?" Diana turned to me seeing that one little tear fall down my face. I then looked out the window to find that the nurse was coming in.
"How may I help you!" The nurse asked in one of those nice squeaky voices I hate.
"My 'friend' is in the hospital and I'm his emergency contact, what do I do?" I was trying to look desperate so she would answer faster.
"What's his name?" She asked
"Codin Lane." There was a wheel chair beside me that I didn't realize before.
"Ok sure just stand up and I will wheel you to his room."
I then stood up and we took off.
We then reached there and Codin was there lying in his hospital bed looking lifeless but still breathing. His eyes still closed this is just sad.
"Hey Codin." I said looking at his pale dry skin on his eyelids. "You will be fine." It was all my fault. "I just am not in love with you anymore. Please just accept that. I'm gonna start to tear up. Codin I'm tearing your family apart and I do not want this to happen again. I don't want you or Red to loose a brother. I'm not going to follow other people's
footsteps. I am in love with your brother but I want him to have a family. I got to go check on Tyra and Diana." I then looked at him again then turned around to see Red accompanied by his parents. "We heard all of that." Mrs. Lane said. I remember I was scared. "We are not mad at you at all," Mr.Lane said "well not anymore."
"I have got to go." I was gonna pass until Red stopped me by a wonderful kiss and a hug. "I love you Jane Rodriguez and I will have a family if you are with me." I was a happy person right there.
"I love you too Red Lane!" We continued kissing.
Mrs Lane then said something I would never expect
"Your mom has died."
