Lies, apologies and nightmares

"That's the girl who cheated on you Codin!" Shyenne shouts as I enter the room.
"What the fudge!" I shout back at her.
"Yah what the HELL!" Red shouts at Shyenne
"That's the girl who used you when she was sad and depressed!" She's lying in front of me and all. I'm a freakin ORPHAN and my real dad left and I'm scared he'll come back!
"Yah stop lying to me!" Codin shouts! Then his lips meet with Shyenne's and I felt a pang on my stomach. I was pretty sure it wasn't jealousy but if it was I shouldn't. I just couldn't. I ran out of the room and just kept running. Out of the room, out of the hospital, onto the road and just kept running. 'Your not safe' my mind kept telling me 'your stalker is probably around here'. Salty water staining my face as I run by. My stomach still feeling the aftermath of the big hit in my gut. She used my story, my parents. I can hear a few cars passing by and can see a few faces looking at me through the window of their car. Nobody is here to save me. Nobody.

I'm alone

I'm not going to stop running. I've lost everybody.

"Hey JANE STOP!"
I then stop to turn around to see Diana running in her favorite heels in her hands instead of on her feet. She's always been the stylish one in our friendship. Tears still running down my stained cheeks.
"Jane Rodriguez you are going to kill me one day!" I release a bitter chuckle.
"I know right!" I shout as she runs to me greeting me with a hug.
"Jane don't do this to me again," she giggles "no man deserves your tears ok!"
"Ok!" I say wiping my wet cheeks.
"C'mon your coming to my new place." Diana probably came here straight from her home. She just moved here all the way from Hawaii. She's slightly older than me but still my bestie.
"Who told you I ran?"
"Red, btw I've been looking for you everywhere!"
"Haha I'm definitely going to kill you one day!"
"Hey my car isn't too far off from here let's start walking!"
"Can't you carry me?" I pull a pretend pouty face.
"Cmon Lazy bum!" She shouts slapping my back.
"Fine!" I shout.

*2 hours later

"Remember when you had that ridiculous crush on Billy Moore in the sixth form?" Diana hits me on the shoulder playfully.
"Yeah he was hot!" I say shoving my mouth with popcorn. We have been watching 'Elf' the movie to get into the Christmas feels.
"I found his Facebook and apparently he used to like me!!!" She shouts while reaching for her ice lemon tea beside her.
"How d'you know that?"
"He posted it on his timeline."
"Now I'm jealous!" We giggle and keep on watching.

My phone then rings. It's Tyra

"Where da bloody hell are you!" I hear her voice shout through my phone.
"In Diana's new house!"
"Address?" Ty asks
"Let me pass you to Di."
I then pass the phone to Diana and she talks to Ty for a while.
Then Diana ends the call.
"Tyra is coming in about an hour." Before I could answer I see a Twitter notification on my phone, another news one and an Instagram notification. I open the Twitter notification and as I see it, it hits a strong pang on my stomach as hard as the first one.

I try to make sure I don't cry at all but I can't. Salty tears run down my face like they're having a race to see who can fall down first. My life is gone! What is it worth! I was thinking to myself that I only have Diana and Tyra. Where the hell is Red when I need him. Then it starts to black out. I can't see. I can barely hear.
"JANE!" I can hear Diana shouting "JANE WAKE UP!"

"Can I see my present Mom?" I snatch out of my mom's hands
"Cmon be patient Jane."
"But big bro is out!" I whine. I'm only 7 years old and I was impatient to open my Christmas presents.
The door then slams open and my dad comes in with a belt in his hand.
"Walter cmon not today!" My mom shouts trying to stop him coming to me.
"Before I hurt you too!" He growls at my mom.
I start breaking down already screaming No!
"MOMMY HELP MOM PLEASE NO!!!!!"
He then carries me up the stairs hitting me with the belt on my bum as he enters the room and puts me in the bed. He then hits me on my hand until I bleed and almost everywhere else on my body.
"MOM MOM HE-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP"
"MY LEGS!" I shout!!!!!!!

"I'm taking care of her tonight" I hear a distant voice
"I really hope she wakes up Diana." I can hear a voice that sounds like Codin. I wait till I can hear his footsteps far away.
"Hey Di" I open my eyes to see Diana with her eyes open and surprised!

"OMG YOUR AWAKE!" She shouts. Oh shoot Codin probably heard that. Oh great I could hear the footsteps coming back.
"Nice seeing you again!" I smile. I kinda knew I was in a coma before that but I didn't think it was really long. Then I see the curtains open to Codin. He then comes closer.
"I'm so sorry Jane. I didn't remember anything and Shyenne lied to me and I didn't know please forgive me. I'm so upset with myself. Jane I can't get over you. I love you but I know I should move on. If you can I can. Can I have an 'it's ok' hug instead of you saying it. Actions speaks louder than words."

I then hug him like we used to. I'm not going to lie I miss him.
"Red had to go for three months he wanted to stay to see you wake up. He had to make money though. He'll be back in two months." Diana explains to me.
"How long have I been in a coma?" I asked

"A year and a half!"
