Me and Lissa sat at the small playground sharing a big Strawberry pie watching mothers talk and kids run around. She smiled "I want kids" I looked at her shocked as she laughed "Remember when you thought you were pregnant?" She asked, I rolled my eyes "Yes. C.C. passed out."
She laughed "We came here and shared a pie, talking... and it was nice" she said, as a little redhaired girl was giggling as her mom played. I frowned "Lissa- nevermind."
"What?" She asked, I shrugged "Tell me. C.C. is right your a terrible liar."
I smiled "He seems to know a lot about me still" I whispered she nodded "You should see his billfoe. Remember the pictures of you two with the Turkey he shot? They are in it."
I laughed and smiled "How are you coping with Mr. Swaggers death?" I asked, silently. She smiled "I don't know. I feel weird, emptyish. He told me you brought him cookies, cakes, and pies oh my" she said I laughed "Did you get close to him?" She asked, I shrugged "Yeah. My pawpaw died before I was born, so I guess I did."
She smiled and took my hand in hers "You got me Andy, Rikki, Bobby, Bret and-" I stopped her and shook my head "Lissa...don't say it."
She frowned and started to say something, I beat her to it "My dad put me in a arranged marriage. Unfortunately, to the devil himself" she looked confused "Cole" I said, he mouth dropped open "Who?!"
I nodded "Yeah."
"When?!"
"The third of November. On a Friday. Martha and Cole's mama Darlene finally set the date I go tomorrow for a wedding dress fitting" I said, and beat my head on the table, she patted my back "Ill be there for you Andy, but can't you stop it?"
I shook my head "Disrespect my dads last wish?!" I said she sighed.
"Andy what happened at the graveyard?" She asked, I looked away and mumbled "I was at my mom and dads grave, asking for a sign of what to do. The winds blower and C.C. was behind me with a lily he stole off of a grave. Leaves blowed towards him and one thing led to another and.. he kissed me.
"I said If you love me you will stop the wedding and he walked off."
She frowned "Why he stop-?"
"My family has a thing for arranged marriages.. but, if another guy stops the wedding and shows how much he loves the bride more than anyone. The arranged marriage is off. My family is so weird."
She smiled and a little girl came up to us "Will you play with us?" She asked, motioning to her friends, he mom said "Sweety! Don't bother them! I'm so sorry!" Me and Lissa laughed, and looked at each other "She isn't bothering us..."
Before we even knew it, we we're playing on the playground with the kids, and laughing with each other, feeling like we were five again.
I came out of my bathroom in a purple nightgown, towel drying my hair, I opened a beer and went to my room, it was raining. I grabbed The Outsiders as Rolling Stones Paint it, black played in the background, Bullet beside me on the bed, and Lucifer on my dresser, her fur shiny after her bath.
Something flew into my window, then another, and another. I grabbed my pistol and went over, raiding my window I said "Boy! Don't you know you will get your ass shot off doing that shit?!" I yelled.
C.C. smiled "Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your long brown hair!" He said, he was getting soaked, I smiled "My hair isn't long you blonde jackass."
He shrugged and leaned on his suitcase "Its still beautiful, like your eyes" he called, I smiled and sighed "Why are you here?"
He smiled "I got kicked out of the last hotel open here. Lissa is afraid I'd grab a gun and shoot up her house, can I please stay with you?" He asked, I folded my arms on my window and said "No way."
"Andy-!"
Slam!
I shut my window and walked over to the bed, not going to feel guilty, not going to-
Fuck me.
*C.C.*
I walked around the house and to her front porch, I sat on the porch and coughed crossing my arms as the rain fell on me, I scowled "Damn this woman" I whispered, and sneezed. I'm so catching something.
I heard the door open and "Come on in... try anything I will shoot you" and just to make herself clear I heard a gun click, I turned around and saw her holding a pistol, I sighed "No worries. I just want to sleep."
She narrowed her eyes "I have a extra room... until you are allowed in a hotel again."
