Lissa wrapped her arm through mine and we busted open the doors of the church -me in my white wet wedding dress and all- I walked up to the alter with everyone looking at me and I grabbed C.C.'s hands who looked at me worridly. I sighed and smiled "I'm ready to be a mom.. a-and a wife " I said, he smiled and put hair behind me ear as the preacher started "Dearly beloved-"
After he stopped and said "Now for the bride and grooms vows" C.C. smiled as I cleared my throat and started to speak "Cecil Cornelius DeVille... where do I begin? When we first met I thought you we're just a rock star not looking for a relationship, but you surprised me when you first asked me out. We have had a few fights -like any relationship - and I just have to say I love you so much, that first day I gave my heart to you, and you haven't given it back.
"There was a time when I thought we were over, but you came back to me and I just have to say your the most great guy to ever walk into my life. And I love you so much more than a woman can love a man."
We looked at C.C. and he sighed crumbled up his piece of paper and threw it over his shoulder putting his hands on my arms and staring deep into my eyes he grinned "I love you. I would put my guitar down any day to be with you, you mean too much to me and now that you are going to be the mother of my child I am going to be there for you and our baby twenty four seven. Screw these other people. "
As said he kissed me and put the gold wedding band on my hand and I put his on his wedding finger, and we looked down at the rings.
Mine read; His Doe, his was; Her Buck.
We laughed and kissed again, as everyone clapped.
