Frozen Boundaries

Chapter 36: Safe

Elsa's POV

I groaned, I felt my own blood streaming across my body. I was in control of my body!

I started to open my eyes, it was a bit blurry but I know the pitch black figure was Pitch.

"This isn't the last you will see of me, Frost! I WILL COME BACK!" he roared, "I WILL BRING BACK WHAT'S RIGHTFULLY MINE." And with that he left, and everything brightened.

The sunlight came brightly in the room from the window where Pitch left through. The clouds were back to normal and the sun was shining peacefully in the sky.

I felt a surge of pain in my head as I rose and sat on the floor. "Oww.." My hand immediately touched my head as the pain began to hurt. I noticed there was blood on my hand, it was from my head.

Suddenly someone hugged from behind.

"Wha-?" I panicked.

"Shh.." It was Jack, I breathed out.

"Jack? what's wrong?"

He was silent, but he didn't let go of his hands. I tried to squirm, but his hands tightened.

"Let me just stay like this for a while.." he whispered. I felt something wet behind me.

Jack was crying...?

"Please don't run off again.. I want you to be at my side forever so no one will ever hurt you." he said, "Elsa, I damn love you so please don't do this again okay? It hurts to see you hurt."

I nodded, as tears began to fall from my eyes. "Okay, I promise."

I faced him and our foreheads touched each other.

"I will be with you always." I smiled.

He smiled, "I love you, Elsa."

"I love you too Jack."

We went out of the tower. Jack's hand was arched on my back, he was really tired from the fight.

We first went towards the clinic to treat Jack's wound. There we saw few people wounded, Eugene, Darren, Red and the others.

"Elsa! You're safe!" A small haired-brunette with green eyes that looked exactly like Punzie came and hugged me. Jack went towards a vacant bed and started to rest, with Red tending to his wounds.

"Uhm, do I know you?" I asked the strange girl. "I swear she must be Punzie's long lost twin!"

She giggled, "I don't have any twins, Silly! It's me Punzie!"

Oops, I think I spoke it out loud.

My eyes grew wide, "Punzie?! But how?! Your hair?!"

"Long story!" she winked.

"Elsa.." Red called me.

I looked at her, "Hey Red..?" I studied her expression.

"There's something I need you to see.." She held my hand and led me to another room which was private.

She knocked 3 times, and a familiar voice welcomed us inside.

I came inside with Red, and saw Alice.

Her condition was worse than anyone in the previous room... and what's even worse is that I could feel my magic inside her body.

What did I do?

"Alice?" I spoke softly. Her hair was full white, her skin turned pure white as snow and her breathing was really slow.

"This is really hard to explain.." Red eyes were full of sorrow.

I looked at her, "Red, please explain to me what is going on? Why do I feel my magic inside of Alice?"

"Usha kinda struck her.."

Those words ached my heart.

"I-I am so sorry!" I panicked.

"I-It's Okay! Elsa! It's okay! We know it's not your fault." Red smiled, but a tear escaped her eyes. "You can undo it.. can't you?"

"I'll try." I smiled weakly. I went towards Alice and smiled at her, "Hey Alice.."

"Hey Elsa.." She smiled, she was really cold, you could see steam coming out of her body. "Are you here for a c-cu-up of tea?"

"You must be mad." I laughed and so did she. "No, I'm here to try and save you."

"Save? There's nothing here to be s-sa-saved." She blinked slowly, and shuttered "You cannot save what's been taken, I think G-Gr-Grim already took my soul."

She still jokes at times like this.

I held my hands in her chest, "You must not give up." I tried to suck out the coldness in Alice's body."

"Elsa.. I told you.. It won't work." she smirked, "T-Tell you what, you'll lose your balance if you d-do it too much."

"No! It has to!" I tried to put more strength and power in removing the curve/magic.

Sweat started to come out of my body. Why won't the cold budge? My power is draining, and every second I feel weak.

Just as I almost lost my balanced, thankfully Wolfy came out of nowhere and helped me regain my balance.

"C-Called it." Alice tried to raise her fists up. "Guys, It's time for me to go."

"No! You can't Lace!" Red shouted, "You just can't!"

"Hey, don't you want me to be h-ha-happy?" Alice looked at Red.

"Of course I do! That's why survive this and we will host a huge tea party with Hatter and the whole school if you'd like!"

I sobbed quietly behind Wolfy.

"That's s-sounds fun.. but y-yo-ou know what would make me even happier?"

We all looked at Alice.

"Being with my sister above." She looked at the ceiling.

Red started to cry and I could see Wolfy hiding his face with his hair, clearly trying to hide his face crying.

He went towards Red and patted her shoulders.

Red went silent for a few moments and nodded.

Alice got the signal and smiled.

"Sis, I'm coming.."

Everything went completely still and silent.

The wind went inside the room, I didn't even notice there were windows inside the room and that it was open.

Then reality finally flashed before my eyes, and Red's cries were heard throughout the room.
