There's nothing better than the smell of autumn. Watch the trees change colors and step on crunchy leaves. I observe my neighborhood from my window. Alexander just left a few minutes to pick her sister up from school. I have a feeling he won't be back for a while, so I decide to go and explore the town by myself. I grab my hoodie and my cellphone and step outside. The rain has stopped, but the skies are gray.

There's a clothing boutique just a block away from home that I've been wanting to visit for a while. Breathing in the autumn air, I observe the falling leaves from the trees. I walk into the clothing boutique. Autumn clothes are the best, especially the cozy sweaters. I look at the price tag of the gray turtle neck sweater, and admire its knit texture. $25.89. I grab a twenty and a ten dollar bill.

''Luna! That sweater would look amazing on you!'' I hear Jenna's voice.

I turn around and she gives me a warm smile.

''Still thinking whether to buy it or not'' I tell her and look down.

''You should totally buy it, anything would look good on you. I mean you have such a nice body!'' She says and scans my whole body.

''Thanks Jenna...'' I reply and blush.

''And I'm sure Alexander would love it on you! You two are dating or something like that right?'' She asks.

I don't know what to say. Define 'dating'. I mean we have kissed twice and we are practically inseparable. We have been spending almost 24 hours a day together.

''No, haha we are not dating ... Alexander and I are just friends'' I tell her nervously.

''Well, Alexander never shares his personal life with anyone. Not even with Jacob. I was just curious'' She says.

''Yeah he's very mysterious.'' I reply.

Jenna dissapeared  into the dressing rooms.  I continue to look through the cozy sweaters' section. I have been saving up all of my 'lunch' money the past few weeks, so I think it's time for some shopping. I really need to get my own job, the cafe place hasn't called me back. There's a maroon knit sweater that I also like, but its the same price as the gray one. Jenna comes back with a pile of scarves she's about to buy.

''Which one should I get?'' I ask her.

''Both! Gray looks amazing on you! And maroon is my favorite color.'' She replies and smiles.

''Actually, maroon is also my favorite color, but I own too many gray clothes'' I say.

''We have something in common. What about me? What scarves should I buy?'' She asks.

''I like all of them! '' I tell her.

I decide to buy both of them. $40 is my total, since Jenna's aunt owns the store I got a little discount. I should really get something for Alexander, he always buys me stuff. There's a similar knit sweater in the men's section. I look at the price tag, $21.89.

''You know, you should totally but it for him. I'm sure he will love it!'' Jenna says and jumps up and down like a child.

Jenna and I continue to visit another 3 clothing boutiques. We practically spend the whole evening together shopping.

''You should give me some advice on how to get an amazing figure like yours!'' She begs.

''I don't really have any advice...'' I reply and look down.

''Oh c'mon Luna! There has to be a secret to look like that!'' She flashes her white smile and raises her left eyebrow.

''I kind of have a problem actually...''I reply back.
