Chapter 12

Looking at the classroom's clock, waiting impatiently waiting for fall break to begin. It is 1:54 o'clock. 6 more minutes and I'll be out of here for two entire weeks. Ms. Fonseca continues her Spanish lesson even though nobody is really paying attention to her. I look at Jenna who is sitting across the room from me. She puts her brunette hair behind her left ear. I stare back at the clock. 1:58. I start to pack up, putting my Spanish textbook inside my backpack. Finally, the bell rings.

''Luna, wait for me.'' Jenna yells at me.

''Okay.'' I reply and smile.

''So, what are your plans for the next two weeks?'' She asks.

''I'll be spending time with my grandparents back at Chicago'' I tell her.

''Chicago city? Wow Luna! That sound fun! Lucky you, I'll be going on a family trip to Seattle with my annoying older sister and my parents'' She says and rolls her eyes.

''I wouldn't consider myself lucky, since my grandma can be...difficult sometimes haha'' I tell her and laugh.

We walk through the school's hallways and I see Alexander having a conversation with Taylor. She's wearing a ribbed dress, I can tell by the fabric that she bought it at forever 21. Alexander is laughing, he seems to be really into the conversation. I feel...jealous. I mean they are only having a normal conversation, there's nothing to be jealous about. Besides, we're not even dating...right?

''Luna!'' He greets me and snuggles me into his arms.

''Hey!'' I place my arms around his neck.

Taylor rolls her eyes, she doesn't seem happy to see me.

''Well Taylor, I'll give you a call tomorrow. Have a nice day'' He tell her and waves goodbye.

What was that all about? Does that mean that Alexander and Taylor are friends? Since the first day of school, during chemistry class, I hadn't t seen them talk. Alexander grabs my hand and we walk to the front benches, where Jacob and Jenna are waiting for us.

''What do you wanna do for the rest of the day?'' Alexander whispers to my ear.

''How about we cuddle and then you help me pack my clothes'' I whisper back.

''Oh that's right! Would your grandparents mind if I come along?'' He asks and looks into my eyes.

''The real question is, will my grandma like you'' I say sarcastically and laugh.

''I see how it is then!'' He says and we all laugh.

Jenna and Jacob hug me.

''I'll miss you Little Luna! Don't forget to bring me a T-shirt that says 'Chicago'!'' Jacob tells me.

''I won't forget! I'll miss you too!'' I say and laugh.

Alexander and I walk hand by hand. We have been walking back to school since Wednesday. When I decided it would help to my 'figure'. The streets of Vancouver have been decorated with Halloween decorations. It's barely the 16th. We arrive to my house and Angelina is eating fries on the couch with her laptop on her lap.

''Hello Alexander'' She greet him and smiles.

''It's good to see you again Mrs. Clark'' He greets back.

Alexander and I go upstairs to my room.

''I'm so sorry my room it's such a mess! I don't know exactly what to pack and what not to pack!'' I tell him.

He closes the door and comes closer to me. We are both standing by the edge of my bed. He looks at my lips and a smirk appears on his. He kisses me passionately. I kiss him back. His tongue runs through mine. Do 'just friends' kiss like that? He places his hands on my back. His right palm squeezes my butt. I pull off. That felt really good but we can't keep on kissing without defining what we really are.
