''Hello?'' I answer my phone.

''Luna, I'm sorry I lied to you. Ashley put a drug on my drink which made me go to sleep while they partied. She went through my phone and took my alarm off. I woke up late not knowing where I was, then I got mad at them and went home. When I got home it was already too late because you had already left and...''

''Wow, slow down. What?'' I answer feeling lost.

''Its the truth that's what really happened last night, I'm really sorry Luna I broke my promise and its my fault''

Nobody had ever apologized to me with the hones truth. I can tell he's telling the truth because he's voice isn't changing this time.

''Who's Ashley?'' I ask.

He takes a deep breath.

''My ex girlfriend, we dated about a year ago. She's bad, really bad.'' He admits.

Why was he hanging out with his ex girlfriend anyways? I wonder if he actually defined their relationship before starting to kiss each other. I need to meet this girl and ask her.

''I'm glad you explained...I felt very hurt this morning'' I admit to him.

''Yes, I know I'm sorry'' He says.

'' Does you mom know about this Ashley girl drugging you?'' I ask.

''Not exactly, she doesn't exactly like her. Enough about me tell me how's Chicago'' He changes the topic.

''Chicago's great. I already have plans for the entire week. Tomorrow we're going to church, then shopping. Monday we're going to a ballet recital, then hanging out with my cousins. Tuesday I'll stay home and help Veronica clean. Wednesday shopping again...pretty much shopping every day'' I laugh

''I'm glad you're having fun. I'll be home taking care of Lily and working at the café with Jacob'' He says.

''Tell Lily I say hi'' I whisper.

Veronica appears in my room.

''Ms. Clark, dinner's ready your grandparents would like you to join them'' She tells me.

''Thanks Veronica, by the way please call me Luna. It makes me feel a little less younger'' I tell her and smile.

''Alexander I need to go, I'll text you as soon as I can.'' I say.

''Goodbye Luna, I miss you''

''Goodbye Alexander, miss you too''

So much things I need to process right now. I plug my phone and let it charge while I go downstairs. Veronica has cooked steak and pasta. I grab myself a very small piece of steak and a small portion of pasta. It smells delicious. Grandma and grandpa are already eating at the dinner table. Nobody ever talks while eating dinner, I suddenly get bored. I take a bite of my steak and observe how everyone else is paying attention to their food. I wish Alexander could be here, he would make dinner more fun and interesting.

After finishing my dinner, grandma and grandpa go to bed early. Their bedtime is at 9 o' clock. I help Veronica do the dishes and I go up to my room and take a long bath. Just looking at the luxurious ceiling for a while. Is this how am going to spend my fall break? Shopping, eating, and going to bed? For two entire weeks? I remember how dad always thought Angelina's parents were boring, because he thought they had no social life due to their obsession with having a lot of money. I would rather be at home cuddling with Alexander than being here.

I call my mom before going to bed.

''How are grandma and grandpa?'' She asks.

''They are glad to have me here, but honestly I would rather be at home mom'' I admit..
