The days and nights all blended together. She paced the small room, trying to keep her mind somewhat busy. Each sunrise brought a new mark on the tallies she kept on the wall.
Dark, that was all she could see. She whimpered as she heard rustling outside the little guarded window. Moonlight streamed through the bars. Her tummy grumbled as her food had been coming at weird hours. A shadowed figure crouched at the window
"Psst.." she heard from the person. She crawled over to the window and listened. "Are you awake?" She could tell the voice belonged to a little boy, the same little boy who would come talk to her often at night.
"Yes.." she answered in a small voice. She stood and pulled herself up by the bars to see who was talking to her. When the moonlight finally caught his face, she smiled. He was a cute boy. Her eyes caught with his and she felt a connection with him. His green eyes showed so much emotion her voice caught in her throat.
He gave a small smile and reached through the bars, brushing his fingers over her cheek bones. "You'll be saved soon, I'm sorry I can't do it... the counsel is coming through..." he turned his head abruptly as yelling came upon where they were. He looked to her one last time and ran off.
Mara bolted straight up in bed, her breathing quick as she relived the night she was saved in her dreams. The green eyes flashed through her minds eye again as she thought of who they could have belonged to. Remy took a deep breath in and let it out as he adjusted next to her; and everything clicked then. Remy had been the boy who showed her compassion through her time kept in the cellar. She peeked out of the window and saw it was still dark. She swallowed hard as a thought came to her mind, it wasn't one she would be willing to do but she knew she had to do it. As softly as she could, she crawled out of bed and slipped a hoodie over her head. She slipped socks and running shoes on and walked as quietly as she could out of the room.
In the living room, Mara watched her mother for a few seconds. She loved that Remy had found her for Colby and her. She grabbed her keys, slipped them in her pocket, and walked out the door after undoing the locks. She stood at the top of the stairs, looking outside. She knew battling her fears of the dark were one of the first things she had to do. She let out a deep breath and padded quietly down the stairs. She looked at her cell phone to check the time as a lone car drove past her building. 2:15 am; she wrapped her arms around herself, took a deep breath, and began to walk down the sidewalk.
She had made it about eight blocks away from her house when she realized a car was following her. She rubbed the muscle on her hand between her thumb and forefinger, hoping for some sort of comfort. She heard the car stop behind her and she tried to keep her cool while quickening her pace some. She heard quick footsteps behind her and then both of her arms were caught in someone's tight grip.
"Well, well, well... what do we have here?" Came a voice that walked out behind her. Her heart was racing and she could feel the agitation rolling from her wolf. Mara tried to wiggle out of the death grip she was in. She let out a growl in aggravation and kicked her legs out. "Hey now, little miss. Don't want to hurt my friend now." Mara threw her hair out of her face as she looked to where the voice came from. He looked strong and full of power, from what she could see. He walked up to her and grabbed her chin with his thumb and forefinger. He turned her head from side to side, his dark eyes looking her over. Mara jerked her head out of his grip and kicked out again, her feet connecting with his shins. He growled loudly, "Well, if you don't want to do this easily..." he pulled something out of his pocket and stabbed her leg with it; injecting her with the only type of drug werewolves are affected by: wolfsbane. Mara yelled out as her vision blacked more and she passed out. Her last thought: this is exactly what I was scared of....

Cora gasped as she looked up at Colby. His usual turquoise eyes had turned to the gold of his wolf and she knew he wasn't playing games. She was in heat. The moment they had been waiting for since she turned eighteen was finally happening. A wave of hormones from Colby engulfed her. She closed her eyes as a desire more intense than she had ever felt pooled at the bottom of her stomach. Colby cupped her face in his hands and crushed his lips to hers, his tongue demanding entrance to her mouth. Cora felt her wolf begging to take over as Colby's already had. Cora completely relaxed and allowed instinct to take over. Her green hazel eyes turned completely green and she pressed herself against Colby. A growl of pleasure rumbled his chest and Cora's wolf hummed with delight. Colby ripped her shirt away from her and picked her up. Cora wrapped her legs around him and felt him grow under her. Cora groaned into his mouth and grabbed a fistful of his hair. Colby hauled her to their bed and threw her into the middle of their California King bed. His eyes gazed over her half dressed body before he tore her pants off of her and quickly undressing himself. Cora smiled as he let himself loose. He climbed on top of her and pressed his lips to hers while taking what was left of her clothing off. Colby adjusted himself over Cora and easily placed himself into her. He groaned in pleasure, Cora responding with her own moan of desire and delight. Colby began his rhythm; their heart beats quickening and their breathing becoming panting. Colby dropped his forehead to her shoulder. "Mine." He growled and his pace quickened.
Cora whimpered in pleasure. Their times together before had never been as pleasurable as she was feeling now. After Colby muttered the single syllable word, she felt him grow inside of her. She arched her back to accommodate the new size. Colby brushed kisses over her chest and found where he had marked her. His tongue traced the mark and then he bit down on it again, earning himself a gasp of pleasure from Cora. She feathered her fingers in his hair and held his head there, demanding him to keep his pace and keep pressure on the mark.
Colby's pace quickened more as he felt both he and Cora reaching their climaxes. He felt himself let go inside of her. Panting, he slowed down and came to a stop, and then laid lightly on top of Cora. He looked into her eyes and smiled. He watched as her eyes changed back to their usual green hazel color. He rolled to her side and pulled her close to him, wrapping his arms around her. He pressed his lips to her head. Cora giggled and snuggled into his chest.

Remy rolled over, reaching out and feeling for Mara. He opened his eyes and searched the room for her. He rolled quickly out of bed and quickly walked out of the room. He searched the small apartment, to no avail of finding his Mara.
Onika woke up from all the commotion. She looked at the time, 3:45 am. "Remington, what is the fuss about?"
Remy froze as he realized he must have woke her in his search around the apartment. He began to slightly pace the place. "Mara's gone..." he whispered.
Onika sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Where could she have gone?"
Remy shook his head. He walked up to the door and slipped his shoes on. "I've searched this apartment up and down twice over... I'm going to find her..." and he walked out the door. I'll find you, Mara. I promise...
