I looked to be about my current age now. It was like I was watching a mirror image. I was standing in front of a man who quite resembled a weasel, with his beady eyes and pointy rat like nose. Thomas and Teresa were behind him, looking at me in fear.
"That was your last straw, Emma. We can't have you continuing to risk the future of this operation." The man said, his voice matching his face. Thomas took a step forward, holding his hands up in surrender when an armed guard pointed a big ass gun in his face.
"Please, don't do this to her. She's my sister-"
"She was the result of an affair, Thomas. Your father had an affair with an Australian woman who just happened to produce your half-sister." The man snapped, his voice sharp. Thomas didn't even flinch, probably already knowing the statement was truthful. I didn't have a huge reaction either, but I could see the hurt flash through my eyes. "It was just a coincidence that she was brought here and eventually met you"
"She's still my sister." Thomas barked, anger blazing. I felt the urge to smile, proud that he was sticking up for me.
"Tommy, its fine. Just trust me." I stated, giving him a look that told me that what I was saying held a double meaning. Thomas's eyes lit up in recognition and his jaw clenched, looking away.
"Say goodbye to your 'brother', Emma. I doubt that you'll remember him the next time you see him." And then the man smirked, ignoring Thomas's cries when he ushered me away. "I'm sure you'll like it in the Maze. All your old friends are there."
"We both know how that worked out for them." I muttered, glancing at the guard who had a gun pointed at my back. The man smirked, raising his eyebrows.
"The Asian has been doing pretty well. You're boyfriend knows how to survive."
I looked away, tears springing to my eyes. "Ex."
"Of course, how could I forget? You two caused quite the scene when you broke up. Shook the British one up quite a bit. Didn't eat or talk for days. Please refresh my memory of why that was, Emma."
I glared at the man, a tear escaping against my will.
"Minho found out about the Maze. Newt must've heard our fight about it."
"How unfortunate. Well, you'll be reunited soon enough and the plus side is that none of them will remember what you did to them...and neither will you."

I was lying on a bed, white walls surrounding me. A boy with olive skin and dark, short hair was staring down at me, a needle in his shaking hand.
"I'm so sorry, Emmy."
"Aris, please-"
"Shup up! The both of you." The man from before snapped, glaring at us. Aris jumped slightly, his face showing his inner battle. He finally looked down at me, placing his large hand on my wrist that was strapped to the bed, so that I couldn't move. My eyes widened when he brought the needle down to my skin, piercing it slightly.
"Do me a favour and survive, yeah?" He muttered, pressing down on the tube in the needle until a cold liquid filled my veins.
"No promises." I replied, smiling sarcastically. Then I went numb, and my eyes closed shut.
~
Please wake up, Emma. I can't lose you again.
The distant voice continued to echo loudly around me, and I stirred slightly.
