One day Danielle was wandering around her back garden. She sniffed the roses that stood on the wall, they were white and red ones. Sometimes she'd pick one and put it in a vase for her mother Talia. She looked in the bushes to see if there was any hurt birds or butterfly's. She saw a light in the corner of her eye. She peeked at the other side of the bush and there stood the most majestic butterfly in the history of butterflies. It sparkled as its silvery wings stroked the side of the bush.

Then she saw something else. A bird poked it's head around the corner of the bush, it squawked at the butterfly. The bird drifted aimlessly over to the butterfly and started pecking it's right wing. The butterfly tried to fly away but it's wing was broken.

Quickly, Danielle shooed the bird away and picked up the butterfly. It's wing was broken for sure and had little peck marks at it and Danielle worried. She heard her mum open the back door and was afraid she would tell her that the butterfly had to stay outside. Danielle hid the butterfly in her back pocket.
"Danielle what is that fluttering sound," screeched Talia.
"Nothing mother it's just the wind," Danielle exclaimed.
"Ok if your so sure," tested Talia.
"I am, you can go now,"Danielle said a little bit to quickly. But Talia still left.

As soon as Talia left Danielle placed the butterfly on the ground and found a small strand of grass. She stuck it to the butterfly's wing and poked it to see if it would work. The butterfly quickly realised what Danielle was doing and flapped its wings.

It majestically flew away and Danielle gave herself a pat on the back, knowing she'd saved that poor butterfly and ran inside.
