Chapter 23: Hear the Bells Ring

Shadow Foxy is the one with the purplish hair and black waistcoat.

Bonbon's POV

Foxy snuck out of his cove while Shadow was sleeping and spoke to Vincent. All that I could make out was 'Shadow' and 'ring.' Vincent nodded, grabbed something and left. By that action, I could only guess one thing. I ran to Freddy, Toy Freddy, and Goldie's bedroom and knocked on the door, not sure if they were awake. Fortunately, they were and Freddy opened the door.

"What's the deal, Bonbon?" I burst in, noticing that they were all in their pajamas.

"Sorry to intrude, but I've got exciting news. I think Foxy's going to propose to Shadow!" I squeaked, trying not to scream out and wake Shadow and the rest of the girls.

"Really?" Toy Freddy grabbed my shoulders. I nodded giddily. They all jumped around, spinning each other.

"Shhhhhhhh! Shadow and the girls are asleep!" I shushed them. They quieted down and I left them to sleep. I ran to my room and told Bonnie, and he giggled childishly before we laid down to sleep. I pulled the blue comforter tightly over my shoulders and drifted into a deep sleep. The next morning, I sat on Bonnie to wake him up.

"Get off, Bon!" He shoved me off. I giggled and ran into the party room, jumping around. I felt on top of the world. Freddy shuffled in topless yet still wearing his dark brown pajama pants.

"Dude, chill out. Are you high or something?" he yawned.

"Nah, just happy," I shrugged, sitting down. Shadow walked out of Foxy's cove stretching and pulling on her waistcoat.

"Morning, Bon. Sleep well?" She yawned.

"Better than usual. You?"

"Pretty good. I think Foxy left a little while after we fell asleep, but I was too tired from that ordeal with Shadow Freddy," she mumbled, rubbing her eyes and pulling her hair into a ponytail. Foxy came out, kissed her head, and went to the bathroom. He too was shirtless yet wore his waistcoat over his bare, well-toned chest. The time flew fast, and as the day progressed to the night, we sat in the party room together, chatting about random nonsense. Suddenly, Foxy pulled Shadow aside. We all stopped talking and listened.

"Shadow, I love ye too much to hold this in any longer," he began as he got on one knee and pulled out a ring.

"Will ye marry me?" Shadow squealed and jumped on him, screaming, "YES! YES, FOXY, I WILL!" We cheered as he spun her around, tears streaming from both of their eyes. Eden and Aaron walked in at 10:30 pm and Shadow told them the good news.

"Come. I'll take you dress shopping," Eden offered, and together the giddy girls left the pizzeria.

Eden's POV

"I'm so proud of you, Shads! Getting married to Foxy!" I squeezed my friend's shoulder. We rushed into the bridal store and ran to the red dress section.

"Ooh! Eden, look at this one," she gasped, holding out a single-strap dark red dress with a black half-cape and a black belt.

"I love it! I think Foxy will too," I clapped. We purchased the dress, which only cost $85, and went to Aaron's old hideout. My phone buzzed and I saw Vincent calling me.

"Hey, Vinny, what's up?"

"Hey, sweetie, are you girls almost done? The wedding is supposed to start in half an hour," he informed me.

"Yes, hon. We've bought the dress, now just to get her ready. How's Foxy doing?" I told him.

"OK. He's pacing like crazy, pulling at his hair even though we've brushed it multiple times, and he keeps asking about her," he chuckles.

"Hehe, well tell him we're almost ready. Talk to you later," I laughed.

"Love you," he stated and hung up. Shadow was already getting dressed for her wedding, and she looked gorgeous.

"Eden, will you be my maid of honor?" She grasped my hands.

"Absolutely." We rushed back to the pizzeria, where I led her to the hallway, which was lined with a red carpet. The organ sounded, and she slowly walked to the stage. Foxy stood at the front wearing a tuxedo and a red tie. His blood-red hair was pulled back into a tight, neat ponytail. I could make out tears ambushing his bright yellow eye. Shadow made her way to the front and stood with Foxy. Freddy was the priest of the ceremony.

"Friends, we have gathered here tonight to witness the bond of these two lovers. If anyone objects to this, please speak now or forever hold your peace," He spread his hands out. No one spoke up.

"Very well. Foxy, do you take Shadow to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold? In sickness and in health? In poverty and wealth? In good times and trials, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do," Foxy's voice wavered as he spoke.

"Shadow, do you take Foxy to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold? In sickness and in health? In poverty and wealth? In good times and trials, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do," Shadow was trying not to cry as well.

"May I have the rings?" BB and JJ presented the rings. Foxy slipped it on Shadow's hand, and she did the same.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride," Freddy concluded. Foxy and Shadow leaned in and shared a passionate kiss. Applause surrounded around the room as he swooped her up bridal style and took her to his cove's stage.

"So, what are you going to do for your honeymoon?" I asked.

"We be goin' to Scotland. We have plans. Nigtorra be taking us there," Foxy smiled.

"Have a lovely honeymoon," I waved as the clock chimed six. Aaron and I left in awe. My best friend now has a husband. I can't wait to get married.
