The Forgotten HERO [PJO/HOO]

#7 the Date

A/N- I don't own PJO duh. Uncle Rickey does. (Man this is like a ritual for me) anyway here goes.

     Artemis' POV

     I head towards the city after my dual with Percy. It surprised me that he was that good at adapting to his domain. Normally getting used to one's domain takes time but it hardly took 'Time' (get it?) for Percy. I'm impressed by him due to that. He is going to be the strongest Olympian and I have no doubt about that but I am not worried a bit because of his Loyalty domain and his nature more importantly make him the most trustworthy man there is. For me he is the only tolerable male. He has volunteered to take the weight of sky from me during the fight with Atlas, gained Zöe's trust which I thought would be impossible due to Heracles. Percy had refused Godhood before for love and instead told others to mind there kids more and most importantly he freed Leto, my mother, from her prison and other peaceful Titans under the oath of not betraying Olympus' interests. He once agin refused Godhood and instead asked how Hestia and Hades to have thrones in Olympus. Thus I was quite happy when father made me his tutor.

      Anyway back to the current situation, we are headed towards city and Percy is knowingly walking few steps behind me.  His respect towards others is not a bit less I slow down my pace so that he understands my meaning of 'both are equal'. He understands it and starts to walk beside me. "You are quite a powerful goddess Artemis" he says to me. Oh and I changed my form to Greek aspect right after we started to head towards the city.

     "Thank you Percy. You are quite strong yourself" I reply to his compliment.

     He blushes a bit and nods his head. I smile at his reaction and thought that he looked cute when he was embarrassed. He still had those sea green eyes which could make you look in them. I had increased my age to my 17 year body as he looked near that age and I didn't want to look too young beside him.

     Let me tell you guys about my look in my different aspects as it could be confusing to many. In Artemis form I have auburn hair, silver eyes and white skin which is not tanned at all. In Diana form I still have auburn hair and silver eyes but I look more war like in this form, meaning I have a good tan on me and look bronze-ish. I think I look more mature in Diana's form.

      Anyway, we arrive in the city and I look for a place to eat. Percy points to a restaurant which had a wooden door and looked elegent. I accepted his decision for his good taste and we headed towards that shop.

Percy's POV

     While we were on the way to city I was busy deciding what to eat with Artemis. I saw that the sun was near the west horizon, in Olympus there was no mist on sun chariot, I mean car. Apollo was in a Golden Lamborghini Aventador today( I like Lamborghini more. Problem?). I sighed when I saw him waving to us and I ignored him. Looking from here I didn't understand why the mortals couldn't find out about Sun's shape changing ever time Apollo changes it. Note to self- Ask Artemis about it in future. Artemis changed to her Greek aspect as she exited the Colosseum. She looked my age currently and looked real good! Not gonna say that aloud though. I care for my immortal life too guys and anyway she will not appreciate my views and it simply won't work our with a maiden goddess. I promised myself that I won't love anyone till I find the One in my immortal life, I feel it's Artemis but not gonna say that out folks.

      As we enter the city I start looking for a quiet place to have dinner. A place caught my eye, it was a restaurant named 'Seb'on', French, I think. It looked a bit simple yet elegant. I liked this place so I made a decision, I pointed towards it and after Artemis saw the restaurant she smiled and nodded.

     We went into the restaurant and noticed that it was empty except a middle-aged man near the counter. He was a man with salt and pepper hair and blue eyes. He bowed a bit towards us and took us to our seat near the window. It was a 4 seater table and we sat on the opposite sides. The man then gave us the menu and left us to our privacy.

   I looked at the menu and asked Artemis " What do you want to eat?"

     She thought of my question and read the menu and after a good 3 minute wait she looked at me and said " I want a grilled chicken sandwich and lemon splash, what about you?"

     "I already decided my meal" I grinned and beckoned the man to come. He came and asked "Have you decided your meal sir?"

     "Yep, a Grilled Chicken sandwich and lemon splash for the lady" Artemis blushed at that"and cheese burger and BLUE Coke for me please" I said. The man looked at me funny for a moment and nodded and went to the kitchen for our order.

"Why do you what your Coke to be blue?" Artemis asked me.

I grinned at that and answered" My mom once made blue cookies but my ex-stepfather Gabe didn't like them so since then we have blue cake, candy and everything" I said the short version to her. I felt sad reliving the memories as now no one would remember me which made me frown.

Artemis noticed my depression state and kept her hand on my shoulder which made me look at her and we looked into each other's eyes and said "I'm really sorry for your situation Percy but we are here for you so talk to us you know"

I nodded at her suggestion and we waited for our food. Suddenly a man entered the shop, he was blonde and looked 20ish he grinned like crazy when he saw us and came and sat next to me and said "Hey Perce, little sis wacha doing here?"

"Apollo? What are you doing here" I said and Artemis coldly said " We are having diner fool, and for the last time I am not your 'little sis', I was born first!".

"I'm here to crash your dinner then!" The sun god exclaimed.
