Thalia's POV

When I saw the man who stopped working weapons from touching him, I was utterly shocked. It was almost as if he had invisible hands and stopped them by catching them. When he removed his hood and showed the familiar mischievous face I was dumbfounded as it was my cousin Percy. Sure he looked a bit different but I recognised him immediately with his sea-green eyes, which had a bit of gold in them and his smirk.

     I was glad that he was ok but I was also very angry with him as he didn't say anything to me about why we found him at that mountain. I manipulated lightning in the clouds and threw it at him and then a lightning strike came on his position and he was engulfed in a binding light.

Percy's POV

     When Thalia threw me a lightning bolt I went in a defensive posture but surprisingly it didn't effect me and passed through my body as if nothing happened. I think this is because of my rubber sneakers. Kidding, it's because of Zeus gift. There was a burnt mark all over the place I was standing so I moved from this place to another place and then I started the time for the projectiles shot at me.

     They ended up in the soil a couple of feet away. Thalia seeing that her lightning bolt didn't work asked me "Percy what did you do?"

     I shrugged and said "I don't know maybe it missed me"

     Before Thalia could respond Artemis cut in and said "Well seems that you made it at the correct time. Girls this is Perseus, God of Time, Earthquakes, Swordsmanship, Heros and Loyalty. He is also the 15th Olympian and Guardian of the Hunt"

      All the girls except Thalia bowed, where as Thalia stared at me in disbelief as she only knew that I would be appointed a task by Zeus. I said "Um No need to bow and all that, I would prefer if you called me Percy"

     The 6 girls got up and then Artemis said "Let's go back to camp and there we will discuss our next movements"

     Everyone nodded and I followed the group, Thalia came towards me and said "Never expected you to be a Olympian Kelp head"

     I laughed and said "Well I'm still the old Percy, Pioncole face" she elbowed me in the ribs and that made my ribs sting a bit. I told her everything that had happened to me from the moment she went back to hunt and I excluded the part of gaining gifts and details about my new weapons.

     Within 10 minutes we reached the place and we sat at the dining table. I sat left of Artemis but a bit far away as I didn't want to piss of the hunters on my first day. Thalia Sat on Artemis' right and the rest sat opposite to us. Artemis then said "Girls from now on you will spend time with this man so be friendly" and the hunters nodded but I could still see a bit of anxious faces among them.

     I sighed and said "Well call me Percy and don't worry about me touching or flirting with you because I swore an oath on Styx"  we could hear thunder rumbling in the sky. The hunters looked at Artemis who simply nodded and I could see a few relaxed faces now.

      I smiled and said "Well I would like to know your names"

      The girl on the left corner said "Well my name is Elsa, daughter of Hebe". Elsa had shoulder length black hair and brown eyes, she looked about 12-13 years old.

The girl beside Elsa said "My name is Tia, daughter of Demeter". Tia had the signature black hair and brown eyes which every Demeter demigod has,she looked 13 years old.

     The girl on Tia left side said "My name is Maddie, daughter of Ares." Maddie glared daggers at me, she had brown hair and brown eyes. She looked 15 years old. She was the biggest of the hunters.

The girl beside Maddie said " I'm Claudia, mortal" Claudia had blonde hair with blue eyes, she looked about 14 years old.

The girl on Claudia's left side aid "I'm Yui, daughter of Hermes". Yui looked like an Asian elf as she had long straight black hair and black eyes and her ears were a bit pointed and she had a smirk on her face. She looked 15-16 years old.

The girl beside Yui said "My name is Em, mortal". Em had blonde hair with gray eyes, she looked like a younger Annabeth, which kind of stabbed me in the heart. She was about 13 years old.

After everyone was done introducing themselves, Artemis said "Percy will help us protect ourselves and help in recruiting girls into the hunt. He will not flirt with you all but mind that I will not allow disrespect towards our guardian without reason" this kind of shocked me. I could see Maddie glaring at me and the others are a bit taken a back.

Before Artemis could say anything I asked "Artemis I understand the above things but Can I protect the hunters when the ancient laws prevent me from doing so?" The girls also looked at Artemis curiously as this concerned their safety.

Artemis as if expecting this question said "As the guardian of hunt up you can bypass the ancient laws and fight when the lives of hunters are threatened"

Everyone nodded at that after that Artemis went into her tent, all the hunters talked to me about my domains and weapons and all except Maddie who went away as soon as Artemis dismissed everyone. Everyone was friendly to me as Artemis had spoken highly of me. After about 2 hours of idle chit chat and getting to know each other we were like BFFs. Maddie also joined us after a while but she never talked to me. I need to do something about her too I thought. Thalia had calmed down after I explained everything I missed out during the walk to camp.

Suddenly Artemis came out of the tent worriedly and came towards the dining hall where we were seated.she sat at her old position and we sat there. She then said "Hermes sent me a IM informing me about a nest of monsters south of New York. Father has told us to destroy the nest as it might cost people lives. And Percy this is where you will prove your battle skill to the hunters. Father said that he will be watching you personally"

I gulped at that and thought Great, I needed an audience for the fight! *sarcasm*

A/N- there is going to be a big fight in the next chapter! True powers of Percy are shown. Oh come on Vote guys! Anyway Sayonara! ;)
