The Forgotten HERO [PJO/HOO]

#6 the Arena

Percy's POV

       I arrive at the arena which was beside Artemis' palace. Now you may say it's a arena but it really looked like the Colosseum from Rome but made of gold and a bit smaller on scale. I entered the central part and waited for Artemis to show up so we could fight and all. Now before she comes here let's talk about my situation. All the mortals and minor gods have forgotten about me except major gods and their direct children. This is actually quite sad and depressing. I try to not be still connected to the mortal part of life of anymore but looks like I can't just call quits on that matter. Now let's talk about my friends who were rewarded after the Giant war, among all of the seven Leo is with Calypso somewhere like a World tour bands take. All the others were made minor gods and most of them live in New Rome at Camp Jupiter.
For who all were made gods here is the list-
Jason Grace, God of Thunder and Heros
Piper McLean, Goddess of Natural beauty and Heros
Frank Zhang, God of shifting and Heros
Hazel Levesque, Goddess of metals and Heros
Leo Valdez, God of Fire and Heros.
Annabeth and I had refused to become immortals as we wanted a normal life, well at least as normal as it gets for demigods. Leo went missing after the war, we all guess as he is with Calypso. Jason, piper, frank and hazel live in New Rome and help around there and as than camp was almost destroyed in the war. Reyna is still the Praetor. well enough about them and let's get going shall we.
       After hours, it did feel like hours, a girl my age with silver eyes similar to Artemis came in the arena and looked around. She saw me and headed towards me. Well this was awkward as she was similar to Artemis and had auburn hair but looked a bit older and she was 5'9, I guess that her age would be 17 or 18. She suddenly said " well Percy? Are we fighting or not?"
       "Artemis? Is that you?" I asked her.
      "I am Diana, the Roman aspect" she answered.
      "Oh ok, hello Diana. So why are you Roman right now?"
      "I am better in close combat in this form due to my slight difference in domains.
      I remembered that Artemis had hunt as a domain and Diana was more of a war goddess. Oh I did become intelligent.awesone.
      "Ohh ok. I understand so what shall we do first?" I then asked her.
"Your most important domain is Time so you got to understand more about it and it's uses"
"That sounds ok but how do I do that"
"In a fight obviously"
"O-ok so? Are we going to fight or am I going to fight someone else?" I asked
"Obviously you are going to fight me. Or are you scared you gonna get your ass kicked by a girl?" She said and raised a eyebrow.
"Oh you are gonna regret this" I said with a smile.
I took Riptide out and she took out 2 hunter blades (small knifes), we went into the center of the ground and kept about 10 m distance between us. We observed each other's moments and I was using my Ares' gift to know more about her knifes- Celestial Bronze, 20cm, can be used as throwing knifes,and very very sharp. Her stance had no opening at all. We played the mind game for about a minute and then simultaneously leaped towards each other. My sword and her blades met which made a CLANG sound and we jumped back a few meters and once again leaped towards each other.
      This time instead of facing her head on I went and dodged the attack and cut her right arm while dodging. Golden ichor was flowing down her cut arm. The damage was low but it did affect the fight. We kept our positions and faced each other again but this time she used her second blade to cut my leg right before moving away. My leg hurt and j was a bit surprised to find golden ichor flowing down my leg, dam this is gonna cut my mobility.

Diana's POV

       I cut Percy right before moving away and caused him to flinch at that attack. I used this moment to attack him again but this time he expected this attack and parried my blades. I was on a roll and without thinking about the consequences attacked him with my blades again and again. He did a good job of dodging but he had small scratches all over him and he did get his clothes golden everywhere. Out of know where and his eyes which were sea-green and golden in each eye became golden and glowed and suddenly in a second my blades were knocked out of me and he had his sword at my throat. He said "Yeild!"

Percy's POV

      While getting attacked by Diana I thought of using my domain but I didn't know how to do so, but suddenly I wanted the Time to be frozen and time froze. Literally. That was more weird. I felt power in me slowly decreasing, it wasn't that much drain so I just ignored it.
       I ran towards Diana and took her blades to and knocked her aside. I then kept my sword a few inches away from her throat and them unfroze time. The total exhaustion was considerably low. I shouted "Yeild!" To the surprised Diana.
        "Fine, I Yeild" she told and then I removed my sword and returned her blades to the now surprised Diana.
          I then went and sat at the benches near the entrance. I was soaked with sweat due to the match, I really hope I do t smell bad right now. Diana also was soaked but she had a cinnamon fragrance coming from her, I really hope some thing or other is happening to my sweat so that I wouldn't stink. We sit down and drink nectar and ambrosia and after wards when our wounds are closed she asks me "That was the work of your domain wasn't it?"
"Yea, I kind of froze time and did that. I can stop time in a area choose, the larger the larger toll it takes on me. I can freeze specific objects and I mean time freeze them and can even revert them back to their previous state as I wish. Like I can revert my sword to pen shape without touching it. The more powerful a being the night strain from me is required. Please don't tell everyone what I have told you" I request her and show her my reverting ability by turning our clothes into their previous state my focusing on them.
" I understand, I will not reveal your secrets. But why do you trust me with this secret?" She asked me.
"Because I know that you are a trustworthy person and 2nd most trustworthy, obviously after Hestia" I answer and I think her face became a bit red. Well my face was scarlet for enquires. I smiled at her and after 30 min so rest I said " well today was interesting. What do we do now?" While looking at the sinking sun.
"Today you gained your understanding of your most important domain, from tomorrow we train and improve your control over them. Let's head to my palace now. And oh we are having diner on the way." She answered.
"First date already? Sounds good to me!" I happily said while she blushed and pointed her blades at me. I raised my hands in defeat and follow her into the city.
Well this was a good fight and had results. I'm really looking forward towards this date with Diana. I followed her with a grin on my face.

A/n- well hello guys. Still waiting for your comments. Oh and a major God is goo a strike their date. Any guesses who? Anyway this one was a bit interesting I guess but his powers will be trained and slowly mastered and then only does the main villain comes into picture.love you guys ;)
