#28 the Party

Percy's POV

     After the Thelma with Zeus I wen to my palace, it was already 6 pm so the party was starting. My palace was glowing in a dull golden colour, and the interiors were watery blue not electric blue. There were many people entering my palace, I recognised some of them. Apollo and Hermes were outside the doors and checking the list of entries.

     I went near them and said "Hey, what are you guys doing here"

    Apollo replied "Both of us are sponsoring this party so just checking the party man. We will announce you to the crowd in a few minutes Perce, can you stay by the stage in the living room."

    I nodded and went inside saw that the whole living room was filled with different kind of people, you know 2 faced guys, 1 eyed guys, et cetra. I went and stood by the stage and waited for stuff to happen. All the gods were talking among themselves in small groups. The muses were singing and playing, their song differs from person to person, I heard Linkin Park and Green Day. Artemis was talking to Athena about something and then she saw me and headed towards me.

     When she reached me she asked "So what are you doing now?"

     The gods were eating, drinking and engaged in idle talk. I replied to Artemis " Apollo aid to wait here and the announcement will happen, after that introduction to all the gods and stuff."

     As if on cue Zeus entered the palace and all the eyes fell on him. Hera was on Zeus side, all the other Olyumpians were already inside the palace. Zeus came near the stage and went on it.all the gods came near the stage, Zeus looked at me and told me to come on up. I climbed the stares and went to Zeus' side. I stood a bit back of him, well just because.

Zeus the said "Gods and Goddesses, I am here to announce a very big event that has occurred! We now have a new member on the Olympian council!' After that all the gods looked at me and well guessing who the new member was.

The Fates flashed into the room and looked at me and said "All hail Perseus, Son of Poseidon, God of time, vibrations, swordsmanship, tides, Heros and Loyalty. 15th Olympian, heir to Atlantis and bane of Gaia" all the gods bowed to me for a minute and stood up.

After that I was told to talk a bit of myself, I talked about small stuff for a moment and then the party was restarted and the gods started to dance in the room. All the gods came to me and introduced themselves. I will trying my best to remember them as there were many gods. I even met Jason, piper, Hazel and frank who came to the party. I was sad that we were like strangers now but I was friendly to them so they warmed up to me. The major gods, powerful ones remembered me and were friendly towards me.

After a whole hour of introduction I was really tired and went to the balcony to relax. The balcony smelled like sea and that relaxed me. I was enjoying the view of Moon until someone coughed behind me. I turned to see the person but was shocked to see that it was Artemis.

Artemis said "I saw you coming out of the room, so i came to talk to you"

I replied "Well it was quite tiring so I came out for some air"

We both sit at a bench I summon and look at te he scenery in silence. About 10 minutes later she says "So how is Godhood for up you?"

I reply "Well it's quite good for now, I need more time to decide weather it's good or not. BTW what will the mortals think about me on Olyumpian council?"

"Hecate will do a spell making all the mortals beleive that you were made a god while we were still in Greece. By the years end your titles will be knows through the world as 15th Olympian even if most don't beleive us" she replied.

I thought about that statement. It was a good thing that people would know him, not for being popular but rather because I didn't want to fade so soon. I then ask "I will be busy from now on so how will I fulfill the role of guardian?"

     "You will be busy but you will keep watch on nights when I'm busy with my moon domain. About your duties you will have to do them in up your daytime. Sleeping is your choice when you become a god, you will know about that in classes with Athena"she replied.

      "I understand so I'll be studying, got to love that!"I say sarcastically.

She didn't catch the sarcasm and we wen track to our small talk about God stuff.after about 30 minutes we went back to the party and we start to dance with each other. Most of the other gods are also on the dance floor while some are at the pub drinking there arse off. Dionysus is literally drinking too much, Zeus stopped his punishment after the war but he still had to be camps director.

Artemis and I dance to different songs slow ones and even alternate songs. We had fun but I did keep myself from going further as it might cause a fight now. After some time we went to eat. It was already 9 pm when the party ended. Apollo, Hermes and Dionysus were puking their stomachs out. Most of the gods went to their domains after the party. I was too tired to even go to a bed and crashed at the couch which Artemis summoned. She went to the hunt as she was few of the immortals who were sober.

I crashed into Morpheus' domain.
