#13 I become the master of Flashing

A/N- I don't own PJO obvi. Uncle Rickey does. ;)

Artemis' POV

     After the little incident with Percy's flashing and him turning into a panther, we went and then he tried to flash again but this time he turned into a black horse and fell from nearly 25 meters. What did I do after seeing that? I laughed, normally? No, I laughed and fell holding my stomach, after that he tried again but this time he remained human and fell from 10 meters height. After that we took a break and sat at the bench where he was drinking nectar and eating ambrosia.

      "Your adaptability in flashing is top notch" I complimented him.

      He blushed at that, I thought he did, and said "Thanks, it's mostly due to Athena's gift, it helps me solve a problem easily"

      I nodded at that and said "Her gift to you was perfect but I still fell that mine was the best"

      He smiled at me and said "Well your my 2nd favorite female Olympian so I can't argue at that"

      I pouted and said " 2nd not 1st?"

     He simply said "1st will always be Hestia as she is like a mom to me" and after that his face saddens remembering that his real mother would not recognise him anymore.

     I was saddened by that but then I shook my head and said "You know we are here for you right? Even if your mortal connections are lost that doesn't mean that you will not gain happiness. You are the first male I approve of so don't be depressed, please."

     He looks at me and then says "Gaining your respect greater than any title Artemis"

     I look at him and feel my cheeks getting hot so I decide to get back to training and then I say "Come on let's give this another go" and stand up and go, Percy follows me.

Percy's POV

After the quick rest I head and do the same thing over and over again but I'm still unable to flash easily using my 'Heir to Atlantis' title. After trying for hours we decide that flashing was impossible for me until I have a idea, " what about the gifts I received from you all?" I ask.

Artemis thinks for a while and says "Yea that could be possible."

I start to think of all the gifts I received and then arriv at the conclusion of some names and their gifts:- Zeus- lightning, Hestia-fire, Poseidon- water, And Hades- shadows.

I start to think that why I couldn't use all of them? So I decide to try out my experiment.

     Here it goes. I first concentrate on make my body into electricity instead of a well body. I start to focus on my body and change it into electricity, I could only do all this due to a Athena's gift. Anyway I open my eyes to see Artemis with her jaw dropped so low that you would think that she dislocated her jaw, I got confused because of her reaction and I turn to look at myself, well I advanced into another level of weird. How? I literally became lightning, I was in the shape of golden lightning and I could move freely in this form. So I decided to move around in this form for a bit and I found that my spend almost reached light's speed. After moving all around Olympus for at least 10 minutes and scaring all the gods present in the city I return to colosseum and say to Artemis " You should really close your mouth or else flies will go inside"

     After Artemis comes back to her senses she asks me "What the Hades did you do?"

     I grin and answer "I turned into lightning and moved along freely, obviously due to Zeus' gift"

     "Well that was a good idea, but you do know that it's not flashing right? What are you going to do in that department?" She asks me.

     Without answering her question I concentrate again but this time with Hestia's gift. I make small fire appear on me, whole body,and focus on a spot behind Artemis. Surprisingly this time I actually shifted from one place to another. So this is flashing ah I thought. It did have a bad effect on my stomach, this time Artemis nods and says "Yep that is flashing, good job. A bit more of practice and you could get from place to place without stomach hurting."

     I nod at her statement and sit on the bench near by and start to eat ambrosia and drink nectar to relinquish my stamina. After a few drinks I fell refreshed and then I say to Artemis who is seated beside me "Now I can flash wherever I want and I can even drink nectar till my stomach is full, it's really a great day for me!"

     "Ah because you were a demigod you couldn't dink it till you wished unless you wanted to be burnt right? Well good for you" she beamed.

     "Well being a God has its perks. So what now? It's already evening going to your palace I guess?" I ask.

     She nods and says "Yea lets rest for today and tomorrow we are going to introduce you to my hunt, thought they may hate you, do your best as you will be the guardian for the hunt until we have more recruits"

     I then think about how her hunters were lost because of 2nd Titan war and 2nd Giants war in the past years. I nod and we start to head to the palace. Due to yesterday's dream I'm a bit nervous but I think that Artemis is also nervous as her heartbeat is abnormally high, how I know this? Artemis' gift heightened senses. We say a quick bye and head to our rooms at lightning speed, I'm literally at lightning speed as I turned my body into lightning and headed into my room.

     I take a bath after the whole tiring day and I get into black shorts with nothing on the top and head for the bed. I place my weapons in disguised form- pen, toothpick, watch on the nightstand and lie in the bed and head into realm of Morpheus.

     Today was a Interesting day, hope I get along with others tomorrow I thought.

A/N- I hope it's a good chapter, finally Percy is going to meet hunters, I don't really know how to write mean characters so hunters are going to accept him fairly quickly, unlike other guardian stories.
