#18 the Favour

Hecate's POV

      When Percy started fighting Clytius in close combat I was utterly shocked as he grew in godly height, normally height represented power in Olympian council an I think he is the strongest God based on his height. His skills with his sword were perfect and effective. Clytius was known for his tough skin but before Percy's sword his skin was like tofu. Percy was fighting the giant without even using his domain(s?).

I was using my torches to fire at the giant and avoid Percy but as usual it was of no use. My daughter was using magic to throw physical objects at the giant, moving physical objects was a tough job which was clearly showing on her face. I felt that Percy took out another sword out and attacked the giant but as soon as it hit the giant, Clytius fell on the road face first. I couldn't confirm the existence of another sword as, it was in used only for a moment.

Percy restrained the giant and then called my daughter to help him finish off the giant, after the giant was blown to gold dust which relived me. Percy then asked me "Was he always that weak?"

I sighed at this young gods powers and replied "He is strong but we didn't give him any advantages." I turned to my daughter who was very tired now and said "Natasha go to your room and have rest for the day. I'll dispel the spell on the location"

Natasha nodded and went into the shop. The whole battle took 30 minutes and the damage was very little, other than misplaced objects there were no damages to the road and surroundings. I used a spell and made all the objects back to their place and i lead Percy to a cafe near by and sat there. We ordered some coffee.

"You are really strong. May I ask what are your domains and titles?" I asked.

Percy looked annoyed for a while and answered "You will owe me another favour as up you will learn knowledge before it had been announced"

I nodded as I really wanted to know his powers. He replied " I am Perseus God of Time, Earthquakes, Swordsmanship, Heros and Loyalty. Slayer of Kronos, bane of Gaia, and 15th Olympian"

I was beyond shocked. I finally found my voice and asked " When did all this happen?"

He shrugged and answered "About 3 days ago"

"Ok now onto the spell" I said as he seemed a bit annoyed.

I continued "I will plant false memories where you want and it will effect all the demigods and mortals but not immortals, as we are strong on that front"

He said "Make me disconnected from all of their memories, i will still do all the quests and same life but everyone will forget their personal connection with me. "

"I think you said there were exceptions?" I asked.

"Yea I want you to use my memories to make the exceptions remember me. The exceptions are- My mother Sally Jackson, Paul Blofis, Nico do Angelo, Grover Underwood and Thalia Grace" He answered.

"Are you sure that there are your choices?" I asked.

"Yes I'm sure." He said seriously.

"Ok but this might hurt a bit" I Said and grabbed his head with both my hands and he was engulfed in a golden glow.

Percy's POV

As soon as Hecate grabbed my head I saw all of my memories, literally all of them, from my birth to my elementary school days, I saw myself get older slowly from day one to present day. I saw all my quests and fights which I had till I was became a god and the rest of the days.

Fortunately she couldn't see my dreams, how do I know that? She saw what ever I saw so I never saw any of my dreams so I assume it's the same for her. I felt like hours but finally she took off her hands from my head and I opened my eyes. I saw her drenched in sweat. She sat at her seat on the table. I used my domain to find out that the time right now was 3 pm. Whoa! That's a lot of time I thought.

I touched her shoulder and made all the sweat evaporate, perks of being a son of Poseidon. She finally regained her voice and said "The spell is complete. Everyone has false memories about you, except the exceptions, they have the memories from your view. Other than that everyone will remember you but will have no connection to you. They know of your quests but they don't know you in person."

I nodded and then Said "Thank you but right now let's eat"

She nodded so I summoned some pancakes for us. We dug in as soon as we saw them and ate for a full quarter hour. After completing our meal we went towards her shop and then I said "Well, thank you for the help I need to be going now"

She nodded and replied "I understand, good luck"

I smiled and I disappeared into flames.

      I flashed into Central Park, New York. I sat on a bench and thought about the encounter. It was 6 pm here so I could see Apollo going down in the west. I thought about all that had happened to me in the past few weeks and what I would do now.

      You mig be asking why I didn't and Annabeth to the exception list? The answer is simple, after Adam did that stupid spell Annabeth was the coldest person towards me there and within 2 days she found a new boyfriend who was from Apollo cabin, even if I was forgotten she replaced me with a guy so soon? Thought Adam was to blame for everything I couldn't comprehend that I was replaceable so easily. It hurt me so much that it was the reason I went to find Hypnos.

       That's why I cut off all my ties to that place well except the exceptions. No that some of their memories were back I guess I could visit them. I thought of my first destination and reached a conclusion.

      I smiled and said "I'm coming home Mom"
