#8 the Sun and the Moon

Artemis' POV

Everything was going great until my idiot brother showed up. We used to be close 3 millennia ago but he turned into a idiot and a womaniser. I hate him but oh well you know how sibling relationship are I don't want him to get hurt too. Man if he wasn't my twin I would have killed him again and again because of his actions. He was only right in one case about me, that was Orion's case. He was right that Orion was a bad male, I thought of Orion as a friend as he was the only male to have good morale and character. Ooh how wrong was I, he showed his true colours and tried to rape one of my hunters, I'm glad that I killed him before he could do anything to my hunter. Well anyway back to the present with this situation of me, my brother and maybe crush( I said maybe! I'm not sure dam it!).

Apollo said "I was looking for Perce for his welcoming party!"

"Oh sounds cool when is it?" Percy asked.

"I don't know man it's for you to decide as you are the main guest" Apollo replied.

Percy looked at smiled, my heart literally skipped a beat, and asked "Artemis can you help me out?"

I thought for a while and said "You could keep the party on the weekend which is in 3 days."

Percy thought about it and nodded and said to Apollo "Let's go with Artemis' plan. You decide the venue and timing and umm stuff. Tell me beforehand the details, I mean on Saturday."

Apollo nodded and said " Sounds good to me" and then looked at me and grinned and said "What happened little sis you helping out a man it's quite rare isn't it?"

I sneered at him and said "I'm the older one fool and I just helped out a friend nothing more"

Apollo raised a eyebrow at that reply but didn't say anything while Percy blushed and tried to hide it, I think only I noticed his blush, my cheeks got hot too but I controlled myself and said to Apollo "You better leave now or else I will impale you Dracula style" he paled at that and hurriedly left us and ran out of the shop.

I felt relived that he finally left. Percy then said "I'm not in the place of judging anyone but weren't you a bit too mean to that guy? Although I think you are right about him being a fool."

"What you said is right about me being too mean on that guy but he treats women like pleasure objects which is the opposite of my morals and my existence so I always insult him at ever chance I get" I replied and Percy simply just nodded at my reply.

The man of the shop appeared out of kitchen and gave us our food and bowed and returned to his place behind the counter. The whole waiting thing was hardly 7 minutes so I guess it's a good restaurant. My plate had 4 set of grilled chicken sandwiches and 500ml of lemon spuwhich was grey in colour in a silver glass, Percy had a huge cheese burger with fires beside it. His blue Coke really stood out.

       We started to eat and completed our food while talking about his time domain's and his duties in that field. He didn't really have a active duty in that field as time is constant and only he can alter it to his wishes. After we are our meals the man came and asked us about deserts and we both got our selfs a ice cream and cake hybrid called 'Death by chocolate'.
     It was quiet good and then we paid the bill, well I tired to but Percy insisted that he would pay in repayment for my help. Though I'm not a fan of 'ladies first' rule or 'girl weak, boy strong" rule Percy's manner made me felt good. We headed towards the party and sat down there.
 
Percy's POV

      After the dinner we went to a park near by and sat there. The dinner was good and I felt that I was closer to Artemis now that she opened up to me, at least some. She was a kind hearted girl and really cute one at that, I really li-STOP!!. Man this is getting even. Ore confusing as I'm really starting to fall for her but I know that she will not accept my feelings and reject me. So I decided to close these feeling deep inside me.

      Anyway back to the present we were looking at the moon and the stars when a question popped up in my mind. I looked at Artemis and asked " if you are here who is driving the Moon right now?"

     She looked at me and said " Unlike Apollo who has a changeable chariot, mine is a autopilot one. Everyonce in a month I have to go on it and check it up, on the day of the checkup the chariot doesn't glow so that day to mortals is no moon day"

     I thought for a while and replied "Ah I finally understood moon's cycle"

      We stared into the sky once more and we started talking about Zöe and other other constellations, thought I avoided Orion as she had bad history with him. After an hour of talk we stood up and went to her palace. She said " Anyway we are going to Hephaestus tomorrow for your throne and palace, have some plans ready ok"

      I nodded to her statement and started thinking about my new home. We reached my room and I opened it and entered it. She said "Goodnight Percy" and she stated to turn to leave. I took my chance and kissed her cheek and said in her ears "Goodnight Artemis" I got back to my position with a blush from ear to ear. She was shocked at first and she blushed back to senses and ran back to her room.

     I went to the bed and fell on it face first. Why the hell did I do that I thought. Her cheeks were so soft, I wondered how her lips would be like. Ahh man this is really-  I thought and before I could continue my train of thought I slept and fell into the world of clocks.

A/N- hope it was a good chapter. I'll be updating 3 chapters on Sunday so stay tuned. I'll be visiting my grandma's house so you know how that might be, uneventful. Anyway sayonara for now guys. ;)
