The Forgotten HERO [PJO/HOO]

#2 The Past

A/n- I really hope that I write a good story. I don't own PJO Rick Riordan does duh.

Percy's POV

        I woke up to find myself in a white palace on a white bed and said" So is this Underworld?"
        Suddenly someone on my right side said "You wish to die that easily ah?" I turned to see this person and was shocked to see Apollo, God of Medicine on a chair with a chipboard in his hand.
        "Apollo" I said and tried to bow but the pain in my gut prevented me from doing so.
        "You rest man, we'll talk to you later" he said and I asked "what happened? I thought I was supposed to be at the foot of mountain"
         "Artemis found you and called for me. Rest for now, you will give us a explanation afterwards"he said and I simply nodded.
          I drifted to the realm of Morpheus

Artemis's POV

        It had been 2 days since I arrived here with Thalia. I contacted my hunters and told them to stay at the current campsite and wait for my next orders. We stayed in my palace on Mt. Olympus.
        In the morning during our regular schedule we saw Apollo coming out of Percy's room with a grin on his face. I asked" Has he awaken?"
       "Yea sis he's awake now but still needs sleep. Lets all go in the evening to talk to him" he said. I then sent out to other gods about him being awake and our meeting with him in the evening.
In the evening

      All the gods along with Thalia entered the room to find Percy sitting on his bed looking out of his window at the streets of Olympus with a smile. He saw us and tried to bow but was stopped by Apollo saying "Dude you need to rest right now"
      Poseidon asked" Son why were you at that mountain?"
      Percy simply said "I tried to take my own life" which shocked each and everyone of us. I stammered and asked " W-why?"
      Percy said " Let's see where should I begin, ah ok got it. So here it goes- It all began when Adam, son of Hypnos came to camp 2 weeks ago. He had a big ego and a bitter jealousy towards strong demigods. On the 7the day he  used a huge spell so that all my friends would forget about me and know me only as a legend, I mean like only know my quests and forget about their time with me. The spell costed him his life and I went to Hypnos for a solution as no one in the camp remembered me and treated me as an outsider who was bluffing to be Percy Jackson. I searched for Hypnos and found him after 3 days of search in Chicago. He then told me that all memories related to me are gone and will never return, due to the Spell. He also told me that all weak beings like Mortals would forget about me. I returned to camp hoping that he was wrong but then everyone except Nico and Grover sent me away and I headed to my Mom's place but even they forgot about me and sent me away. I was heartbroken and thought of taking my life and that's were Artemis found me" I cried a lot while saying the story.
       All the gods looked at him not knowing what to say. I broke the silence and said" Is there really no way?"
       Zeus thought for a while and replied"No. If Hypnos says something about memories then they are true".
       Thalia being a strong demigod and a Hunter didn't forget Percy but others forgot about him, I can't even imagine how that would be like. It was as though he faded away in a similar way as immoral a fade away.
       Percy quietly said "Brians was right. Being forgotten is the worst punishment possible" with shallow eyes. His caring green eyes turned as though he was a puppet of the original Percy we knew.

Zeus's POV

       After hearing Percy's story I was saddened due to his loss, I thought I would do something for him as he had saved us many  times and showed us to care more about our children. I thought for a while and arrived at a perfect role for him. I said" Artemis I would like to speak to you" and flashed to the throne room.
       Artemis flashed after a while and said "Yes father how may I help you."
       " I have a request for you regarding Percy's matter"
       "Do you have a solution father?" She said.
       "Yes but it would need your help. I want to make Percy your and your Hunt's Gaurdian."
       Artemis looked distraught for a while but what she said next surprised me" Yes father I couldn't accept this request if it were another man"
        "Thank you let's tell the other Olympians about our solution" I said and summoned all the other Olympians to the throne room and started to discuss the matter.

Artemis's POV

       I was shocked about father's request but I gradually accepted it as Percy was not like other male and was a true man who had earned my respect many a times. He was kind, caring, loyal, funny, muscular,.....WAIT WHAT?! I blushed a bit at that and controlled myself and sat at my throne and waited for others to hear out Zeus's solution.
       All the Olympians flashed into the throne rooms and sat on their thrones as Zeus announced his solution. Surprisingly no one was against the idea and that was a very very rare event.
       Poseidon then said" He needs to be gifted for his achievements as well as his sacrifices. And we will not take a NO as an answer" I nodded along with the others.
      We discussed and thought of informing him of our solution after he was in a good shape, to which Apollo said "A week in my palace will make him reach his best possible condition"
      We accepted and then flashed to our own domains except me, I went to Thalia and told her our solution. She was very happy and we flashed to our camp and went back to kill the unknown Beast.
      'The result will be told after a week I guess' I thought

A/n- Hope people like this chapter. I like Percy X Artemis so that is our main aim but the relationship will not be made that easily. Hope I last that long ;)
