Home Bound

***Ashley POV***

Once we got to Norman's Missy unlocked his door and we went in. Missy took off her heels and placed them at the door and I done the same before she went over to the coffee cup to make some coffee while I took Mason upstairs to give him a bath.

After his bath I tried to put him down for bed but he didn't have anything to do with that and I knew why...he was attached just like I was and he wanted Norman to put him to sleep. I didn't want to fight with him so I just let him stay up and watch cartoons.

"If you want I can watch Mason while you go relax in a bath." Missy said as I smiled and nodded.

"Thank you." I said kissing Mason's head before walking upstairs to our bedroom.

Once in the bedroom I turned on the shower and stripped out of my dress so I could take a shower. The shower was a in and out deal. I wanted to pack for home. I couldn't wait to be home. Back to my own people, back to my plain ass life.

I quickly got dressed after my shower and placed my hair back into the braid before I started packing. Then I heard a knock on the door before it opened. It was Missy on the other side with two cups of coffee. I smiled as I took my cup.

"I need to pack too...Sean has already packed for the trip." Missy said as I looked confused.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Were coming with...I want Mom and Dad to meet him. Plus we want to help you get settled into your new place." Missy said making me smile.

"Awesome...I can't wait." I said trying to smile.

"I know right." Missy said as she placed her hand on my shoulder. "You know you shouldn't listen to that old cougar bitch." Missy added.

"What if she's right?" I asked.

"Are you serious...Norman and Mingus loves you why would you think that?" Missy asked.

"Really Missy...I mean look at how we grew up...we grew up poor as hell. People who grow up poor usually stay poor unless their beautiful and talented, you have something going for you so it's no surprise that your with Sean, you guys make an awesome couple but what about me?" I asked. "I'm short, I don't look like a super model what do I have going for me?" I continued to ask.

"Ash...your awesome, you have a killer personality, your good hearted, never been in trouble never been to jail, Awesome with kids and teens should I say more?" Missy asked. "Just because Helena doesn't have Norman anymore doesn't mean you can't have him. He loves you Ash you shouldn't let her words bother you." Missy added.

"I know but like Mom says when it's to good to be true it usually is." I said. "And I'm scared to death I'm going to loose him...I think I'm way to over my head with this. I mean I thought I loved Jason but in the end I knew I wasn't because if was I would have stayed with him...but with Norman it's so totally different. When he left I thought I would die...it felt like I couldn't breathe I wasn't myself and that was what maybe 48 hours if not less." I added wanting to cry as I heard the front door open and close.

"Their back." Missy said standing up from the bed before the bedroom door opened to Norman looking at me. "I'm gonna go pack." Missy added as she left me and Norman alone together.

"Look I know you probably mad." I said as he sat in the floor with me.

"I am mad...but not at you." Norman said pushing a stray hair out of my face.

"So you heard." I said as he nodded.

"Mingus was upset as well Sean had to escort him out to the Jeep cause he wouldn't listen to me." Norman said. "I hope you didn't let her words get to you...I don't want to loose you because of her." He added seeming scared. I couldn't help but to reach out and touch him. He looked like he was about to cry.
