Ashley's pov

When I woke I woke alone and I knew it. I didn't feel Norman next to me, I didn't smell his heavy scent and I didn't feel his arms around me. So I opened my eyes and looked around and he was no where to be found in the bed room. Yet I smelled coffee downstairs and I needed some or something. I thought to myself as I got up genitally since I was still healing.

Once I was up I looked around for my jogging pants and something to keep my arms warm. I smiled when I seen the batman jacket Mingus gave me and tossed it on and zipped it up before leaving the room to see if Norman was downstairs.

Something didn't seem right, I didn't hear Mingus and Roxie nor Mason and I started to worry, looking around for them but they too where no where to be found then I heard Mom, Leslie and Mari laughing and rolling dice at the kitchen table.

"Good evening sweetie how are you feeling?" Mari asked as Mom and Leslie both looked at me.

"Still sore, but I will be okay." I said still looking around for the rest of the gang.

"I will fix you some of your tea if you will take my roll for me." Mari said as I nodded and sat down noticing they were playing yahtzee.

"Where is everyone at?" I asked.

"Norman and your Dad when out to have man day together, and Mingus and Roxie took Mason to the park." Leslie said. "Mingus wanted to take your car but we told him no since you wasn't up to ask. Was that wrong of me to do?" She asked.

"No, that's fine." I said as I took Mari roll.

At that time Eye in the Dark jumped on my lap and rubbed his self against me, as Alice and Cooper began to bark at the door. Letting us know that someone was here. With in minutes Roxie and Mason came in laughing at Mingus.

"You are so crazy you know that." Roxie said continuing to laugh.

"You wouldn't like me any other way." Mingus said following in after them. "Hey Ash." He added as he came into the kitchen to give me a kiss on the cheek. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Better and better every day...have you talked to your dad?" I asked.

"Yeah...right before we got here he said he was on his way." Mingus said as I heard a vehicle pull up sounding like Norman's Jeep. "He's home." He added as he went to the fridge to get something to drink.

"Your tea is done sweet heart." Mari said as she got up and got the tea for me and then handed it to me as Norman came into the house.

"Mingus come here for a minute and help me." Norman said as he smile at me when he seen me.

"Coming dad." Mingus said as he took off to the front door and out he went.

"I wonder what that was about?" Roxie asked.

"Hard telling with him." I said as I took a sip of my tea and let the warm substance warm my body.

After a few minutes Norman, Dad and Mingus came in and place presents under the tree I shook my head and I knew what they were out doing. Once the presents were under the tree Norman came into the kitchen to me and I stood to give him a hug and kiss.

"Playing Santa this year?" I asked.

"No...Santa is real." Norman said smiling.

"Are your serious?" I asked.

"What are you telling me there is no Santa Claus...MOMMA YOU LIED TO ME ALL THESE YEARS! Then who the hell did I see at the mall?" Norman asked making everyone laugh as he picked up Mason and held him to him. "Tell Momma Santa is real and we are going to go see him...tell her." He added looking at Mason. All Mason could do is look at me and nod his head up and down like he was head banging. "See Momma, Santa is real." He said kissing Mason's nose before putting him down.
