Missy's POV

After leaving the hospital we all went back to Mari house. Mingus was still quiet holding on to Roxie while Dad held on to Mason rocking him back to sleep. Sean and I tried to keep Mari calm at the kitchen table with some tea.

Mari was so upset worried about Ashley and Norman. Thank God mom stayed behind with him just in case something happened to her. Just as the tea kettle screamed Mingus ran into the kitchen.

"Dad is back!" Mingus yelled.

"Already? Oh God I hope she didn't die." I cried. "Stay with your grandmother." I ordered before running out of the house, only to see Momma and Norman. Then looked in the passenger side and seen my baby sister. "SHE'S ALIVE!" I cried.

"I need you to go back inside and ask mom where she wants her." Norman said. "She needs to be on bed rest." He added.

I nodded and went back into the house. Mari apparently heard what he asked and nodded to me.

"Follow me." She ordered. I followed her upstairs to a bedroom. "This use to be Norman's room when he was younger as you can tell by all the posters. I haven't touched anything since he left." Mari added. "Go back down and tell him to bring her here." She said.

I did as I was told and went back downstairs and went outside to tell Norman where to put her when he brought her in.

"Where does she want her?" Norman asked.

"In your old room." I said as he nodded.

"Make sure I have room to bring her in...tell everyone to back away from the door." Norman said.

"Everyone is in the living room. " Sean said behind me.

"Alright." Norman said as he opened the passenger door and lifted Ashley into his arms.

Poor sis looked like dead weight but Norman didn't seem to have a problem with it as if she weighed a feather. I held the door open for him so he could come in and up the stairs. Once he was inside Sean and I followed.

"What is going on?" Mingus asked watching his dad go up the stairs with Ashley.

"She's going to be fine, just needs bed rest." Mom said giving him a little smile. After Mom talked to Mingus she went to Mason and Dad and handed him the back.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Her med's." Mom said. "Med's she will not take." She added.

"Something for her to get addicted to?" I asked as she nodded.

"She wont take them but we will make her in other ways." Mom said.

"Force her?" I asked. "Why?" I continued.

"Because once your sister wakes up she will be in pain, it's not like teeth being pulled she was just shot so she is going to take them." Mom said.

Norman's POV

Once I got Ashley in the house, I took her to my old room and laid her on the bed that Mom already had fixed for her. Mom went to her and pushed her hair out of her face and sat next to her.

"I'm surprised you got to bring her home." Mom said.

"I about beat the shit out of her doctor...he put her in a coma. She was screaming and crying to me for help and I felt so damn helpless cause I couldn't do anything." I said.

"You did do something Norman...you stayed with her, you didn't give up on her." Mom said. "Now I'm going to go get the stuff ready that she needs, you undress her and dress her in something comfortable." She added before standing up and leaving the room.
