Once outside I looked at Norman who looked pale. I couldn't help but to shake my head as I lit my cigarette.I think he was more nervous than I was, but I expected everything that was asked about me about my life.

"Are you okay?" I asked placing my hand in his.

"Yeah...I just didn't expect Mom to ask so many personal questions." Norman said looking at me.

"I did....but at least she asked me to call her Mari." I said making him smile. "I doesn't bother me when people asked me personal questions I have nothing to hide babe." I added.

"You took it better than I did." Norman said.

"I thought she was going to make you a new asshole if you didn't stay quiet." I said taking a puff of my cigarette.

"And she would have." Norman said. "If I would have opened my mouth one more time it would have been bad on me." He added as Missy came out to talk to us.

"She wants to know what we all want for super." Missy said as Norman and I both looked at her.

"Tell her it doesn't matter." Norman said. "No don't tell her that she'll think I'm being a smart ass...I'll go talk to her." He added as he put out his cigarette and walked inside leaving me and Missy to ourselves.

"So how did it go in there with Roxie?" I asked.

"It went better than I thought it would since she's with Mingus...I thought it would have went worse...but she likes her. I thought it went really well with you and her as well." Missy said as I heard Mari yell for me.

"Ashley dear please come in here." Mari said as Missy and I both looked at each other.

"Knock on wood." I said keeping my fingers crossed as Missy laughed and held the door open for me.

"Yes Ma'am." I said as I walked to the kitchen and seen she had 4 cook books on the table.

"Steak or chicken?" Mari asked.

"I really don't know...the only thing we can do is take a vote." I said as she smiled.

"Alright we can take a vote." Mari said. We did end up taking a vote, everyone voted for steak. "Steak it is." She added. "But Steak isn't my specialty." She said.

"Ashley can cook some killer steak Grandma." Mingus said smiling at me.

"Then it's settled...we will have steak if Ashley don't mind cooking them." Mari said.

"I will cook them she can put her spices in them." Norman said as I looked at him and smiled.

"Sounds like a plan." I said. "But I need to go to the store to get my secret spices." I added.

"I will take you as long as I get to drive that beast of yours." Mari said as Norman and I looked at her and smiled.

"Your on." I said.

"I just need to make a list of other things I need for dinner." Mari said as I nodded.

As Mari made her list Norman and I went back outside to finish our cigarette. Leslie walked outside with us and smiled at us.

"You two look so good together...I'm happy for you baby brother." Leslie said.

"Thank you." Norman said smiling.

After smoking our cigarette Mari was ready to go. I smiled and handed my keys over so she could drive. Norman picked Mason up as we watched her and Missy walked to the car and got in on the driver side. I continued to smile as I looked at Norman with Mason.
