After Mason ate his breakfast I got him out of his high chair and got him dressed for his Speech Therapy. He cried the whole time I put his braces on he hated wearing them...but I had to be stern with him. I knew the leg braces would help his Low Tone.

"What is Low Tone Muscle mean anyways." Dad asked.

"I often wondered what Low Muscle Tone meant." I said leaving mason alone letting him watch his cartoons. "I can look it up." I added going back to the kitchen table and logging on to my computer, then typed in Low Muscle Tone into the Bing search engine. It pulled up the definition of Low Muscle Tone.

(Low Muscle Tone- Muscle tone is defined at the passive resistance to stretch or movement in a muscle. Defining high or low muscle tone for an individual is dependent upon the tension of Muscle in their relaxed state. Low Muscle Tone describes muscles that are softer or looser when relaxed; leaning more towards flaccidity. Low Muscle Tone most often results in excessive range of motion of the joints as well, due to a laxity in the ligaments that accompanies Low Muscle Tone.)

I shook my head as I looked at all the pictures of people, Children and Babies that had Low Muscle Tone. I couldn't help but to look at Mason and hoped he would grow out of it. This shit is so damn depressing I thought to myself as I lit another cigarette. It sucks when everyone tell's me to stop smoking...I want to stop but it's easier said than done. I looked at the clock to see if I had time to finish it.

"You have time Bug, she wont be here for another 30 minutes." Dad said as I nodded and puffed away.

Dad was right as usual. I had time to finish my cigarette and finish our second Chess game. Which I kicked his ass once more before Ashley came...I thought it was strange since my name was Ashley too but most if not all of the people I know besides Mason's Doctor's or Therapist call me Bug so it was alright.

When Ashley pulled up the dog's started barking so I got up and laid out my wolf king sized bed blanket in the floor and turned off Mason's cartoon's so Ashley would be able to have his fully attention.

Mason hated it, he grinned his teeth at me and bit my leg thru my blue jeans. Since I turned off his cartoons. All I had to do was look at him and he started to ball. I didn't feel bad for turning off his cartoon's since he should be used to it by now.

"No bites...you don't bite people Son." I said as I heard the knock on the door. "Come on in." I said as Ashley came in with her West Caldwell Warrior shirt on and her blue jeans with her long almost black hair pulled up.

"Hey hon...is he getting into that biting stage now?" Ashley asked as I nodded.

"Yep." I said as Mason sat down on the blanket and smiled up at Ashley.

"Hi there handsome...say Momma we will fix that little problem soon." Ashley said making Mason get excited as she sat down next to him and pulled his mat and cards out that showed his sippy cup, and snacks as well as bubbles.

"Would you like a cup of coffee hon?" Dad asked as Ashley shook her head no.

"No thank you, had two cups already today thank you anyways." Ashley said smiling at him. "So has anyone called you yet about his brain scan?" She asked as I shook my head no.

"No but Dr. Kunkle said that she has sent a referral to one of the Neurologists in Asheville." I said as the phone began to ring.

"I'll get it go ahead." Dad said as he picked it up on the 2nd ring. Ashley waited for a few moments to start with Mason as Dad nodded to me and held the phone out to me. "It's for you...it might be from Asheville the number don't look from anywhere around here." He added.
