Two Choices One Decision

Chapter 7
Jazz's POV

As soon as Kat swung,Merideth ( the spider hybrid ) leaped over her and swung her sword,making Kat turn around and forcing her near a pond."Your friends aren't allowed to help."Merideth hissed and shot a web at Opal and I.

"Great.Uh.."Kat said and ducked as Merideth's blade swung overhead.Merideth laughed and closed in for the kill."Kat.!"Opal shouted and Kat put down her sword.I put a hand on Opal's shoulder and gestured for her to wait.She has a plan.

"Die Hybrid.!"Merideth said and at the last minute,Kat teleported behind her and kicked Merideth in the back.She stumbled into a groove of trees and spawned some cave spiders."See how you can handle this.!"she laughed and the spiders swarmed around Kat.

She growled and teleported into a tree."No fair.!Tree jumping is against the laws.!"Merideth shouted and Kat whipped out her bow."Then I know how to get your attention..spiders,feed on them.!"Merideth pointed at us and Kat cried out.

"No interference.!"she shouted and Merideth laughed."You take me as a fool.?Fine,I will spare your friends but it would only be a land battle."she said and Kat nodded."Swords only."she said but the spider hybrid shook her head."Magic and weapons right.?"

Damn.I hate it.Merideth drank a poison potion ( which seemed to give her strength ) and flung her sword towards Kat.It was almost dawn but I bet the school was going to look for us.Damn it school.

Merideth smirked and tossed a potion of blindness at Kat and she stumbled back."Kat.!"I screamed and she splashed into the water.I ran towards her but Merideth stood in my way."No interference."she smirked but Opal pushed her out of the way and pulled the unconscious Kat out of the water.

"Kat.."I said and Opal furiously turned around and took out her bow."No interference but Kat risked her life for us and now.."she looked over at Kat."We risk it for her."then she swung her bow at Merideth but she dodged and caught her arm.

"A deal is a deal."Merideth said and walked over to Kat,who was lying unconscious propped up on a tree."Such bravery.I give up.Let me join."Merideth said and turned towards us.I blinked and looked at Opal."No."I said and Merideth blinked.Then her eyes glowed a harsh red.Then she took out a sword.

"Then I have to win.And I can do that by killing you."she said triumphantly and I waited for the blade to kill us.But that never happened."What..?"She gasped and I saw a tip of a sword protruding out from her stomach.She crumpled to the ground and I looked up.

"Never too late right.?"Eleanor asked and took out her sword from Merideth's body."How did you.."I asked as a new boy stepped forward.Jade was healing Kat nearby and Carlos and Scarlet waited nearby."We gotta go."The new member said and Eleanor winked.

"Guys,meet Jason.He's a Guardian Hybrid.One of the rarest hybrid found in the deepest sea."Eleanor said and looked at him.Eleanor introduced everyone and I looked at Scarlet."Time to go then."She said and Kat woke up."What.."she asked and I went over.

Then she started crying."I'm sorry."she murmured and I smiled."It's okay.You risked your life for us.We did it for you too.But we lost a member and as long as you are safe.."I looked around and reached down to pull her up."Everyone is safe."

"Thank you."Kat said and together with Eleanor,Scarlet,Jason,Carlos,Opal,Kat and Jade..we walked to school..ready to begin our new school life and looking for more hybrids..

"Kat's recovering nicely from those potion effects and should be up and about in no time."The nurse said and packed her medication kit away.We told the nurse that Kat fell into a witches trap and got hit by potion effects before we came to this school.

It was a little lie but at least she believed us."If you have any more troubles just come to me,okay sweetie.?"The nurse smiled and Kat nodded."At least you little hybrids heal fast from potion effects.."she said and we walked out of the office.

Suddenly,Carlos bumped into a guy and he fell to the floor."Chad."he muttered and Jason helped him up."What do you want you little punk.?"Chad asked and Eleanor narrowed her eyes."Back off idiot."she said and Chad rounded on her.

"If I was polite enough,I must say that I'm going to fight a hybrid like you.Back off girl or else you-"Chad laughed and Eleanor solid punched him in the face.Everyone gasped including Chad as she stood near Carlos and Chad groaned."Leave Carlos alone..hear that.?"she muttered and her eyes flickered white.

"Nice Girlfriend you have Wolf Boy.I'll be sure to toast her next."Chad grinned and stepped forwards."Let's see who's toasting who."Eleanor said and held up a ball of lightning."Eleanor.!"I shouted and Kat looked at the scene worriedly.

Suddenly,Eleanor's golden Nether Star flickered from green to gold and everyone backed away again from the sparks from Eleanor's lighting thing."Enough.!"someone shouted and I saw that it was Primce Andrew.Kat regarded him coldly and he looked at her for awhile and Timothy stood at the side.Opal smiled a little and blushed.

"What is going on here.?"Prince Andrew asked and everyone backed away except for us hybrids."Come and see me now."he said and Eleanor seemed to calm down a bit and we proceeded to follow him.

"Fighting in the halls.?That was what you guys were doing.?"he asked and Eleanor hung her head."It wasn't her fault.It was Chad's fault.!"Carlos said and Eleanor looked at him.After a moment of silence,Andrew ( I'm gonna call him that ) sighed.

"Then I have to suspend you for 1 day for not stopping this fight.All of you."he said and Kat stood up."Suspend.?!"she exclaimed and Eleanor stood up too,with tears in her eyes."I'm sorry.But I had to stand up for my friends.Let me be suspended for 3 days.Just don't suspend them."she said and Andrew looked surprised.

"Are..are you willing to approve of that.?"he asked and Eleanor nodded."By suspending you,I have to take away your powers."Andrew said gravely and Eleanor looked at the rest of us.

*Continue without me.I'll try to do whatever I can to help* she said in our minds and we nodded."I agree.But how.?I thought you humans had no powers.?"she asked and Andrew nodded.

"Then I'll have to take you to my Father,Notch himself."
