It's been two months since that threatening call from Scott, though he still hasn't found me. I did end up switching to Ash's and Destiny's phone carrier and I have been paying them the money to include me. Ash and I have grown closer, but because of our boundary issues, he hasn't made a move. Although I have spotted him staring at me when I wasn't looking.

Actually I'm not the only one smitten with love. Ashton invited a couple of his friends over two weeks back. Two friends to be exact. One of them had his dark hair in a quiff and had brown eyes, Lance. The other one had sort of a McJagger look, curly light brown hair with emerald green eyes, Jack.

Destiny was completely normal when Lance was around. I mean, it was like she was talking to me or Ash. But when Jack would strike up a conversation with her, she would sort of stutter and blush. Jack was a total flirt to me, but Destiny must know something about him that I don't that's attractive to her because she is head over heels in love with him.

Back to present day. It's the start of winter vacation(apparently the school board wants to give students under 6 more vacation time) and the boys are home all the time now.

"Jazzy, wake up!" Troy said, shaking me. I groggily stood up and stretched.

"Destiny called!" Brice said, smiling.

"So did Ash!" Troy said, giving me a knowing look. He may have been 5 years old, but he was the smartest, most brilliant 5 year old I had ever met. He knew I liked Ash as much as I loved him and Brice.

I quickly grabbed my multicolored sweater and my dark blue jeans. I ran into the bathroom and changed into the outfit, rolling up the extra long sleeves. I didn't apply any makeup this time. Ashton said I looked better without it, Destiny said the same thing.

I walked with Troy and Brice, down to Dee's and Ash's apartment. There was a note on the door.

Hey guys!

Meet us at the park! They are having a thanksgiving day parade through the park. It starts at 3, hurry!

-Ash,

Destiny,

Jack

That confused me a little. Why is Jack with them. It's not that I don't like him, it's just that he rarely visits.

We drove to the park and got there five minutes before the parade started. Ashton was watching intently down the street, waiting for the floats to pass by. Destiny, however, was in what looked to be a flirty conversation with Jack. I had already asked Jack the day I met him how he felt about her and he seemed a bit smitten. It was almost adorable, their relationship.

I tapped Ash's shoulder making him direct his attention to me. He smiled.

"Hey you made it!" He said hugging me(friend hug!)

"It's a parade!" I exclaimed "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

He handed me a bottle of coke. I gave him a confused expression.

"It was free for everyone who came 30 minutes early," he said, shrugging .

I heard trumpets begin to blare. The parade was beginning. There were tons of floats. There was a Hello Kitty balloon, a turkey balloon, a Family Guy balloon, and a Santa balloon. At least fifteen floats passed by us before I felt a tug on my pant leg.

"Jazzy," Brice asked me, pointing to balloons a little bit down the boardwalk. "Can you get me a bawoon?"

I smiled "Which balloon do you want? I'll get one for you and your brother." I said, straightening up my posture.

"Da bwue one for me." Brice said, sincerely before turning to Troy. "TWOY! What bawoon do you want to have?"

"Gween!" Troy said proudly.

After that I told Ashton and Destiny where I was going. I made my way to the vender through the crowd of partying people. I didn't make it to the vendor though. I felt someone grab both my arms and grip them tight.

"Hello bitch. Miss me?
