Chapter 2 Tris Prior

Katnis P.O.V

I stand there poised with my bow and arrow and she is barely standing up but still pointing her gun at me. She looks injured but I refuse to help; I dont even know where she came from so why should  do anything? 

I do not know what to think of her. She is wearing a green shirt and jet black trousers. Her hair is shoulder length and her face is very red. We both stand like this probably looking like to fools. Neither of us speaks until the girl decides to finally say something. 

'Who are you?' She asked. Her voice is shaky and her lips are trembling. After a while, I lower my weapon. I dont know if this is the right hings to do' to my surprise, she does the same. I realize now that she is not a threat and probably not even from around here.

'I was about to ask you the same thing.' I say back at her. She sighs like she has nothing to loose. 'Well, My name is Tris Prior.'

I grin a little. 'my name is Katniss Everdeen. I come here often but only saw some one else here once. Well other than my friend. What are you doing here?' I say while putting my arrow back into my bag.

'I was running with some other people away from home but somehow I got separated. I tried to go look again but I got lost. I was with someone but I got lost from him too....' 

She stopped talking and started to sniff. 'He got left behind and I never saw him again. I wanted to go back but I didn't know where to go. I gone too deep into the forest. because that's what happens to people who get close to me.They get hurt or they die.' 

'What's his name?'
'Four,' I don't know what to think of this. Its all too much for me.
But I try to Comfort her

'hey, Tris? I dont think he is dead. So C'mon lets get you cleaned up!' I hold out my hand and she stops crying a little. She whispers, Thank your but I dont know how to reply to that so I just keep on walking.

I take her back home and everyone is still asleep. Well, everyone meaning Prim. My mom is there and she stands up alarmed because I brought someone in this state.

'Who is this?' She asks half yelling. 

'Shhh! Prim is still asleep honestly mom. And this is Tris she needs help. Her leg is hurt real bad.'She gets up and starts to work on it straight away.
