Chapter 8 Tris' story

Tris P.O.V

I dont want to tell her because I just forgot about it but now I need to tell her.

"When we decided to leave each other I didn't know where to go or what to do.  So I decided to head back to the forest where I came from and retrace my steps hoping to get back. However that didn't work and I ended up walking about in the woods completely meaningless.

Eventually after maybe a few hours, I see the outline of a few houses and buildings. I ran towards them hoping for a place to sleep for the night and food to fill me empty stomach. But just as I left the woods and was visible to every one, everyone started staring at me.

I started to slow down wondering what their deal was when suddenly to men in white suits grabbed me and tried to knock me out. It worked for them alright even though I am a Dauntless member but maybe it was just because I was totally and completely exhausted."

"what's Dauntless?"
She asked.

I have to stop to tell her what it is. I hate this.

" The Dauntless soldiers are members of a faction which was a system from where I come from. Its like the Capitol and the districts.
Anyway, I woke up in a room and saw a screen with Four on it. Tears started to roll down my cheeks because I thought he was dead. Then some weird man shows up and tells me that I need to be reaped for the Hunger Games and win to get him back.

By the way, he  explained what it was so I knew what to do obviously... I started getting angry and asked him why he has Four in the first place. He tells me that he was walking to the grounds of district 6 and that he looked like he was going to disrupt and cause the whole system to collapse. He was really good at making sure that was not going to happen I'll give him that.

So after some carefull thinking I told him that I would do it and that if I would win that he would release Four and send guards to help me back to where I came from, food and other goods. I agreed and told him to tell Four the deal I made with you. When I was standing in the crowd in the reaping, my name was called out and another boy was called out too to a company me in the games but I can't remember what his name was. After that I just tuned out and forgot about everything else around me. I was scared and confused I didn't know what to do or where to go until I saw you. And that's how I got here pretty much."

Katniss looks at me and sais softly

 "You're the only person that I know and can trust." 
"What about the boy from your district?"
"Peeta?"
"Yeah,"
"I don't know yet but I'll figure something out I hope."
