Kat's point of view~
"Mate!" We both scream.
I look up and see these amazing brown eyes, with just a hint of gold in them. They are staring back at me. My mate has dark brown hair like me and, as I said before, his eyes were just like mine. He's a wolf, I could smell it. I don't know how long we were crouched down on the ground just staring at each other, but the bell had rung. We were the only people around, as far as I could tell. Neither on of us wanted to be the first to leave, but, as far as I could tell, eventually my mate got up and left without looking back.

It's been almost three whole days since I last saw my mate, and my wolf has not stopped driving me crazy. She hasn't stopped howling since our mate walked away from us.
I skipped school the day my mate walked away, yesterday, and today. All because my wolf wouldn't stop crying, so I barely slept.
Anyway, school was now over for the week and I was sitting alone on my bed crying lightly,not wanting to face my dad or Ash's dad.
I felt my phone go off and I looked down at the text from Ash. It read:
"Be ready in twenty"
That was code for,
"I'm coming to get you and take you out, if you don't like it that's too damn bad."
I get up, dry my tears, and reapply my makeup. I then open my door to see Ash.
"Ok, what gives?" She asks.
"Nothing, why would you think that?" I still wasn't one hundred percent sure I was going to tell her about the possible rejection.
"Oh yes there is! I know you Kitty Kat Smith, and it takes something serious for you to skip school. You NEVER EVER miss school, now what's going on? " I hated it when she called me Kitty Kat, because I knew that it meant she was upset with me.
"Well. I um... I-I um.." I stuttered, not having the heart to tell her.
"Well, um what?
"I found my mate, and he-uhm, he might have rejected me." I said the last part quietly with tears running down my face.
"Aw. Come here hon." She said, while pulling me into a hug. "Who is he, by the way" she asked after hugging me and wiping the tears from my face.
"Honestly? I don't know, I kinda bumped into him while I was walking to the Mustang." I didn't even want to think about the face of the guy that claimed to be my mate.
"I'm sure you will see him tomorrow. Now, here is what we are going to do, we are going to get frozen drinks at the local frozen yogurt shop, then head for a Mani, Pedi." She said, as she pulled me towards the door.
We barely make it down the steps when I see my dad and second dad stopped at the bottom of the stairs with a worried look on their faces. My two dads know that I didn't go to school, oh! and they aren't gay. I though I should just clear that up. My second dad would be Ash's dad
I let go of Ash's hand and ran into my daddy's arms with tears running down my face.
"Aw, baby girl. I'm here now, and I'm not going any where." He said, while rubbing my back.
I kissed my dad on the cheek then hugged my second dad, and then I was off with Ash to get frozen drinks.

Twenty minutes later, we arrive at the frozen yogurt shop. I was pretty sure it would be busy since it was a Friday night. People from my pack don't really like to go out during the week, but on Friday's and Saturday's they don't get home until midnight or later.
We got out of the Mustang and I slid on my sun glasses to hide my blood shot eyes from the pack and humans.
I went to open the door when I smell something. The scent is the one I smelled at school, and I froze in place when I realized that my wolf has stopped crying -which could only mean one thing.
