Kat~
Ash saw me freeze, and I guess my eyes changed into my wolf eyes, since Ash said:
"Damn, your eyes just changed from brown to gold in a matter of seconds. What's going on."
"He is here."
"What? Kat, who's here?"
"My mate...." I said as I was drug into the shop by my arm.
"What the fuck Ash?" I hissed at her. I was getting pretty pissed that she wouldn't let go of my arms.
"I want to meet the guy who broke my friend's heart." She said
I looked around and tried not to worry about my mate.

As soon as we paid for our drinks, I forgot that my mate was even in the same building, even though my wolf hadn't forgotten that.
I turned and saw the back side of a tall teenage boy that was muscular all over. He must have been at least my age, or older. I didn't see his face, and wished that he would turn around to look and me. I sighed and got up to throw away my drink and leave, when I remembered I left my wallet on the table.
"Shit, I'll be right out, I leaft my wallet on the table." I said to Ash.
Right before I arrived at the table one of the humans tripped me, causing me to fall forward. I expected to land on my face, but something warm and strong caught me.
"I gotcha babe!"
In the next moment I looked up to the face of my mate. He was the guy who caught me.
"Thanks for catching me."
"It was no problem."
"Actually..." I did have a problem with him catching me. "It's not okay! First you reject me as your mate, then you catch me? What? I can't keep up with all this."
"You thought I rejected you baby?" He laughed.
He had some nerve to laugh. I raised my voice at him and at this point I didn't care if anyone was looking.
"Yes I thought you rejected me! You walked away from me that day at school and didn't even ask my name! That looks like rejection to me!"
"My name is Jake." He said once I pulled my self out of his arms
"WTF" I asked, even though I mentioned it a second ago.
"You said that I left before you got my name. It's Jake."
"Ok, well I'm Kat." I said. I was going to feel terrible when I asked him this questioned, but I needed to know. "Wait, you sounded like you weren't going to reject me"
"I didn't sound like that, but I am upset. I am so sorry..... I would never do that to you and your wolf. Jeez your wolf must be driving you crazy. Damn it, fuck, this is all my fault. I'm so sorry."
I was tired of holding back, so I wrapped my arms around Josh and hugged him. In that moment, where our skin touched there were small sparks shooting into the lower part of my stomach. Jake leaned down and kissed my neck where his mark should be and then whispered in my ear:
"I would love to leave and go make love to you, but I don't get off work til 8, and people are watching us as if we're a show." He reached into my back pocket, unlocked my Iphone 5, and typed in his number. "Let's meet at 9 in the park."
He kissed me on the forehead then walked behind the counter into the stock room.
I took one more glance at my mate and then walked out to Ash, who was waiting in the car.
She takes one look at my face and sees my smile.
"Wow, that hunk just saved you!" She said.
"I know, and the best part is that he's my mate. His name is Jake." I said with a smirk .
"Wait, I thought he rejected you." Ash asks
"Well, it's a long story. I'll tell you when we get home so I can explain to my dad too." I say.
Soon we are home and talking to my two dads about how I met my mate.
Finally, it's time to go get ready to meet Jake. I look at the clock and it says 8:30.
I grab my jacket and head out towards the park.
Yeah, my mate loves and accepts me.
