Old Automail...

"This stupid automail... Hopefully I can fix this without having to uninstall it...," she murmured to herself. She got the things she needed from her closet, where she kept her tools used for fixing the automail she had.

She brought the tools to the table, getting the coating off of the automail that made it seem like a real arm.

Looking at the damage, she sighed. "Great... I have to uninstall it..." Bracing herself for the pain she knew would come with uninstalling the automail, she began.

Every few minutes she had to stop, the pain being too much for her. She would check to see how much more she had to do before it was uninstalled.

She kept trying to think of something else but it wasn't helpful, not for long. "Think of something else, Zira..," she'd tell herself.

Finally, it was uninstalled, and by this time she felt as though she might throw up, but she knew she wouldn't.

Zira fixed the damage that the horrible automail had, hoping as she always did that maybe it'd be a bit better, that maybe it wouldn't mess up as much...

However, this never happened. She was not skilled enough at making automail to, well, make automail that was better. She knew how to fix her automail and that was about all she knew about it.

Once it was fixed, she looked at it for a moment. "Time for my torture again..."

Then, she began to reinstall the auto mail. To her, that was the worst part. It took her much longer. It caused her so much pain, and she was doing it, herself. There was no one around to even bring her comfort through the pain, she just had to bear through it, tough it out.

Zira slammed the tools back into their place, tossing the box she kept them in into her closet, and she lay back on her bed. Lexi made her way onto the bed, Zira having to move a little because of the large dog.

Lexi was a dog who liked warmth, especially during her naps and at night, so, of course, she kept close to Zira, over half of the time. Lexi laid half on Zira's stomach, and Zira looked down at the dog. "Good girl..," she said, petting the large dog...
