-Heather's P.O.V-
I left the guys in peace after mine and Simon's quick chat. Arriving back at home i settled on the sofa and turned on the T.V.
*Next day*
Since getting I have only moved the sofa, fridge to my bed. When i'm by myself there seems to be nothing to do but lie around and eat food which isn't healthy at all, the guys are far more entertaining. I got a text from my sister asking if I wanted to go shopping, agreeing she sent a final text saying she was getting me in 10.
We were soon walking around town just browsing in the usual shops, i honestly didn't enjoy shopping but i needed some warmer clothes as it was december and i lived in London. My sister was mostly dragging me into each shop, i picked up a couple of jumpers, jeans and skirts but nothing very interesting. Although my sister did find a dress that she insisted i must buy and her excuse was 'you may need one soon' then winking mysteriously, what does she know that i don't. We were only out for around 3 hours because i was getting bored of following her around so she dropped me back off at home.
At around 6 the doorbell rung not knowing who it was i cautiously snuck over to the door just incase it was Charlotte and slowly opened it. However it revealed a nervously looking Simon who wasn't in his usual short sleeved top and jogging bottoms but he had a shirt, trousers and slightly more quiffed hair than normal.
'Firstly i know that you said that we are only friends but for tonight can we start over as if you never dated Josh and you fell for me after thorpe park?' What is going on? In reply i scrunch my eyebrows and tilt my head like a lost puppy.
'Ok sounds all a bit weird but just go with it, Hi i'm Simon and you are?' He sticks his hand out for me to shake,
'I'm Heather' slowly taking his hand shaking it,
'Well Heathers it is lovely to meet you, now I'm giving you 15 minutes to get changed into that new dress you got today'
'Oh god' I laugh just turning away walking up the stairs leaving Simon outside with the door wide open.
It didn't take long to change into my new burgundy dress and poor a small amount of makeup on then meet Simon back downstairs.
'You look gorgeous' He smiles walking over to greet me,
'You don't look to bad yourself' i wink sarcastically grabbing my keys and phone then locking up behind us. We got in the car making small talk for the ride to wherever we were going. We had been in the car for around 20 minutes when he finally pulled up the car next to a large vintage looking building. I was about to open the door but he beat me to it, what is going on he is acting like such a gentleman, weird.
'Where are we?' I ask linking arms with him as we casually strolled in,
'It's a surprise' he childish wiggles his eyebrows making me laugh.
The building was beautiful with high ceilings, chandeliers and everything looked expensive making me feel uncomfortable as i was so clumsily i could break something. It wasn't very busy however we sat right in the corner of the large room but there was a view of the large garden.
'So are you going to tell me why you are acting like a gentlemen suddenly?'
'I don't know what you are talking about, we only just meet a couple of days ago'
'Si, seriously I thought we discussed the we were nothing more than friends'
'No you talked, I ignored as usual'
'I should have guessed'
'But now you are going to give Simon a chance'
'Why are you talking in third person?'
'Because today you are on a date with Simon, not Simon the best friend of your ex boyfriend but the guy you talked to at thorpe park which you instantly knew you liked and wanted to be your boyfriend'
'Yes because that's exactly what i thought'
'I knew i was a mind reader'
The rest of the meal was amazing and we just talk on and on which I also enjoyed. After the meal Si took me outside for a stroll through the garden and we sat on the bench it the bottom of it.
'Thank you for the meal by the way'
'Gosh was that some sign of emotion' he sarcastically asks looking shocked,
'take it or leave it'
'Well thank you for agreeing to come with me, I wasn't sure if you were going too.'
'I'm not that difficult' i start to shiver as I was only in a dress,
'Here take my jacket'
'No don't worry' Before i had time to disagree he had tightly wrapped it around me,
'Thank you'
'No problem' he puts his arm around me both enjoying the silence.
