This couldn't be.
She couldn't had gotten that lost heel, I was pretty sure that I lost it in the taxi. But, how could I be sure if everything? It's also my fault for not looking for it. I was bewildered, she had it all along.
"There! Isn't it enough to be a proof?" She demanded, acting all teary. She shed a few tears, but I knew that they were fake.
"Is that really the heel?" Asher said, softened up. He glanced at me for a millisecond, but his attention averted to her again.
"Would I lie? Of course it is! Don't you recognize me?" She said, wiping off those fake tears.
"No, I don't."
"Why?"
Asher got up from the chair abruptly, slamming the table. He grabbed the heel and threw it away, making everyone gasp, even me. He stared at her angrily with gritted teeth and clenched fists. The girls who were queuing backed away from the scene.
He said, "Because you're not her."
Before Serena could say anything, he stomped angrily towards the exit, leaving us all in a tensed up atmosphere. I walked towards the fallen heel and inspected it. The jewel was shattered into sparkling pieces. I gathered up the shattered jewel, and a stinging pain ran down my fingers.
I cut myself. Blood dripped from my finger, drop by drop. I winced in pain, licking my finger. I took a handkerchief from my bag and gathered the shattered jewel, wrapping them up in it. Then, footsteps came near me — high heels' sounds to be exact.
"Hello, Taylor."
I jerked my face up, looking at her. She smirked arrogantly, flipping a few strands of hair back. I ignored her, taking the heel and the shattered jewel which was wrapped in the handkerchief. I muttered, "How did you find this heel?"
"None of your business." She said.
She turned her back on me, making me feel fury. I grabbed her by her right shoulder and twisted her back to face me. She stared at me wide-eyed and said, "What do you think you are doing?"
"Why did you have it?"
"Why? Because I'm Cinderella."
"Liar."
"I'm Cinderella and you can't prove me wrong."
"Yes," I told her firmly. "I can."

"I wanna cry!" I cried out, wagging my legs furiously while lying down on my bed. I was in my dorm with Kylie applying a bold red lipstick.
"Then, tell him." Kylie told me, eyeing her own reflection on the mirror.
"I can't! That's why I wanna cry!" I whined like a child, slamming my fists on the pitiful bed.
"Why?" She asked me.
Why? I didn't have the courage to tell him. He looked really desperate to find Cinderella, but how would his reaction be when he found out that she was me? How could I ruin his hopes? I didn't want him to end up with Serena, but I didn't want him to be forced to end up with me. I also didn't have feelings for him, I was still waiting for him.
"I'm still waiting for him." I said, emphasising him.
She turned her attention from the reflection to me and said, "But, you don't want him to like Serena. Isn't that right?"
"Oh, what should I do?" I whined, throwing a tantrum.
"By any chance," She said. "Are you worried about him?"
