"Wow..." I sighed at the exquisite view of the interior of the mansion.

The pillars went up along with ceiling about three storeys high with a colossal chandelier hanging right in the middle of the ceiling—shining like the sun. The luxurious, cream marble floor was glossy but not slippery. The walls facing the lawn were majorly large windows, giving us a perfect view of the green lawn, more like a kingdom's garden. The stairs that led to the upper level, to the guests rooms, rounded a hallway to the inner section of the mansion. The brown walls were slightly faded, but it gave off the antique feeling.

I skittered towards the centre and spun myself around, right under the chandelier. The ruffles of my green dress spun around gracefully, even though it wasn't a ball gown. I grinned at the big view in awe, amazed by the place. I whirled around and walked towards Nana and the owner.

Nana was wearing a faded yellow blouse, but prettily embellished with luxurious folds. She was also wearing a pair of long pants, a mixture of blue and black. Right below, she was wearing a pair of black flats with a ribbon on each tip. She was amazed herself, but she was still engaging in a conversation with the owner.

The owner in fact was a woman in her forties, but her face expression hinted kindness and mother-likeness—as if she were very experienced with children and guests. Her name was Caroline Heirmion, a female heir to her family generation. Her creamy skin was slight wrinkled, but her complexion hid all of her wrinkles. Her green eyes seemed a bit foggy, but her warm smile brightened them up. Her brown hair, with a little grey strands, was tied up in a messy bun. She wore a loose pale blue shirt, accented her features nicely, and a pair of beige crop pants. She was smiling all the time, talking about her mansion.

"What do you think, honey?" Nana asked me, receiving a warm smile from me.

"It's perfect! It's going to be the most amazing christmas feast ever!" I exclaimed excitedly, causing both of them to laugh. "Where's the wonderful christmas tree we're talking about?"

"Ah...we're going to bring it in later. There's a slight complication with the tree because it's a little huge," Caroline informed me. "Meanwhile, let's discuss some things in the tea room. We have to make sure that this feast is going to be successful."

Nana and I nodded our heads and followed her into the hallway. Paintings were hung everywhere and there were doors everywhere, I might get lost in here. She walked to the left and unlocked a door, revealing a smaller tea room.

This time, the tea room showed a more feminine design. The walls were painted lilac and a small table, covered with flower-print cloth, sat in the middle. The windows were framed with thick white lace curtains, innocent-looking. Caroline led us to the table by saying, "Please sit."

We both followed her words and sat obediently, feeling a little awkward. She noticed it and said, "Oh please, make yourself comfortable."

"Yes, thank you." We both said in unison, relaxing our bodies a bit.

Then, a woman in a servant uniform came in with a tray of tea, a teapot and three tea cups to be exact. She placed the tray on the table and placed the cups for each of us, pouring hot tea into each cup. Caroline smiled at her and said, "Thank you, Maria."

The woman smiled back at her and left the tea room, leaving us all alone. Nana started, "Hmm, how many guests are we having exactly?"

She hummed and said, "I don't know, since the neighbourhood, your friends, and my friends are coming, it'll be about a hundred people or so."
