Cats POV:

My eyes fluttered open to the sound of steady breathing.

I struggled to move. Something heavy was on the side of my ribs.

I looked down and my heart began to thump.

Jason had his arms wrapped around me, and he had his face buried in my neck.
"Jason." I whispered, shaking his arm gently.

"Ghmffle." He said as he woke up.

He sat up, pulling me up with him. Awwww, he looked adorable in the mornings. His hair was sticking up at all angles and his eyes were misted and tired.

He saw me and smiled.
"Good morning beautiful."

I flushed pink, my heart racing.

"Hey, Silver. Do you think you could let go?" I asked politely.
He pouted."No." And wrapped his arms tighter around me.
I laughed. "Jason, Please?"

He huffed and let go, and I got up slowly, unfolding my aching limbs.

I smiled at him, leaving him to dose and went to find some caffeine.

I made some coffee for me and Jase, and I used his shower to wash my hair and body from all the excitement of yesterdays adventure in the restaurant.

He had left a little pile of clothes from his mums wardrobe outside of the bathroom, which I pulled on.

There was some dark blue skinny jeans which fitted well, and a black sleeveless jersey turtleneck which I slid on, and pulled on my Chuck Taylors.

I towel dried my hair the best I could and tied it up in a slick high ponytail\plait that went down to my lower back.

I came back downstairs and laughed at the scene unfolding in front of me. Jase was stumbling around with tons of trays and trying to make toast but failing on an epic scale.

I quickly went to help him, grabbing the trays and loading them into the dishwasher, before scraping the left over pizza into containers and putting them in the fridge. I quickly cleaned the kitchen breakfast bar, and coffee table from last night, tidied the sofa, and put away the movies.

I popped some fresh bread into the toaster, and when it was done, I buttered it and served it on two plates along with our coffees for me and Jason. He was standing there, utterly gobsmacked, his mouth wide open.

"Marry me?" He said jokingly.

I laughed, but inside I was flushing with pleasure.

Once I had eaten my toast I cleaned my teeth with a spare toothbrush, and grabbed my spare makeup bag from my car.

I quickly brushed on some mascara and eyeliner, and my dark lipstick, and swished some bronzer down my cheeks.

I waved goodbye to Jason and grabbed my phone, bag and left for school.

My first class was art, and I ditched my stuff in my locker and headed to the studio.

I sat in my normal seat, on a table with only me and Claire Pagan on it, a very artistic Scottish girl who basically needed anger management BADLY.

Suddenly two vaguely familiar lads sat either side of me, huge grins plastered on their faces.

"Yo Cat! Its Chad, Jason's friend. How's it hanging?" Chad said. He held out a hand and I stiffly shaked it.

"I'm Nathan if you can't remember." Nathan said, shooting me a charming smile.

"Hello boys. Now if you don't mind I need to finish my artwork. " I said quickly. They were kinda cute but still annoying.

Jason pouted and Chad gasped and pressed a hand to his heart.
"Well I never! I feel unwanted! I feel.... Alone!" Chad said dramatically. Laughter bubbled up inside of me.

Suddenly I felt a gaze burning into my back. A cough resounded behind me.

I spun round to see an angry Jason. His sunkissed blonde hair was ruffled up and he was wearing a black leather jacket, a white basketball vest, and black chinos and shoes. He looked super hot.

My cheeks flushed. I realised what it looked like. It looked like I had completely forgotten his bravery last night and had moved on to try and pull his best mates.

Chad cleared his throat and him and Nathan scarpered. He swung his seat round and sat next to me.

He kept his eyes on the board.

Guilt hit me like a wave.
"Hey." I said quietly.

"Hey." He said, not moving at all, his eyes still fixed on the board.

We sat in awkward silence. I drummed my fingers on the table in angst. Why was he ignoring me! I snapped.
"Jason. Why are you ignoring me!" I said loudly.

He whipped his head around to look at me.
"I don't know maybe you should go and talk to Chad about it!"

I gasped. So that's why he was ignoring me.

Right. That's when I knew I had to fix things.
"Jason! Me. Like Chad? Are you insane? Grrrr- just-uh-" I grabbed his face and kissed him hard on the lips.

He stayed frozen for a while and my palms began to sweat. Did he not like me? Was I being delusional?

Suddenly he kissed back with ferocity, sparks flying around me as our lips moulded together. Reluctantly, I gently broke it off and immediately my face blushed as red as a beetroot.

Jason cleared his throat and ran a hand through his hair.
"Wow." He said weakly.
I nodded.
"Wow."

The air was suddenly awkward. Why did I kiss him? Was he having second thoughts? Was I a bad kisser? Questions flew through my brain and I panicked.

"Jason- I-" I stammered, when suddenly he spoke over me.
"No. Cat, don't apologise, that was amazing." He said, a smile lighting up his face. Happiness rippled through me and my lips tingled as if I had stuck them in an electric socket.

Jason turned to me again.
"Listen, Cat, do you want to come to my Chads house party tonight with me? Its gonna be amazing and I really would like to spend time with you."

My brain blanked. I had known about Chads party for about three hours when the redhead I met in Science, Mia, told me about it. We were already good friends.

Suddenly my brain switched into high alert. He wanted to spend time with me! Oh my god!

"Yes! I would love to!" I blurted out.

Jason grinned as the bell went.

"I'll pick you up at eight, Vinski."
