I Cry

I cry

not because I want you here

not because I want you to figure out what pain is

not because I want you to know fear

not because I want you to have to fight in life's battles

But because

I want you to be with me

I want to know what you look like

I want to play with you

I want to live out the dreams I had for you

It's selfish of me to want here so badly.

To take away your pain and fear free life,

No matter how short it may have been.

For me to do that just because I miss you.

But what you have to understand is,

that all I want to be is the big sister I would have been.
