4 years old

At the age of 4,

I knew a lot of things that,

most 4 year olds don't know.

I knew the pain of having a stillborn brother,

and every word to the song "One More Day".

I knew that when people die,

they never come back.

I knew that my brothers would not grow up with me.

I knew that i would never see their eyes,

hear their voice,

or even feel their arms around me.

i knew that i was different than the other kids,

and most importantly I knew I was stronger and could get through anything.
