☪Dark and Mysterious Love Trilogy
"Roses of Possession"
6: A Sweet Revenge
Jane took a deep breath and closed the door behind her. She knew her parents won't like the idea that she's entertaining complete strangers and more of, inviting them in the Blanchard's home. However, when she saw the note and found out that Prince Harry sent the woman, she decided to let her in.
"Who are you and what do you need?" Jane asked firmly, her weak and thin body leaning by the doorway. Time had passed so quick and it's been already five days since Jane met the good and charming prince and that gives her the last day before the twilight of her life appears.
"Boy, you make it sound like you're going to swallow me whole if I don't answer you." The woman laughed, positively sure that Jane was in the least possible mood to joke around. "I'm Leila Marie and I'm Prince Harry's personal adviser. I'm here to train you."
"Train me?" Jane repeats. "What for? And please, not to be rude or anything but will you just tell me what do you need so you can leave? My mind's not so pleased in entertaining visitors at this moment." And it's true. Her body was forced when she heard a knock on the door.
Leila leans back on her seat and smiled at her. Feisty one. She thought. It wasn't her job to do this but she insisted. She heard about Jane's coming and she didn't want her to end up like everybody else. Leila definitely cares about Jane and she wanted to help her by means of the same intention Harry has. "I know you're not in the best possible mood my dear but I just want to help."
"Now, before you even speak..." Leila stands, observing Jane's figure from tip to toe. "Let me start the discussion. We have a long way to go sweet Jane."
"Excuse me but, are you somehow one of them?" Jane asks, irritated by the question mark on her head. "Well, you know, I've been very curious about it."
Leila laughed inwardly and shook her head. Me? A vampire? A bloody creature who kill humans and eat them alive? Leila was positive the human was going to ask her that. And she was quite prepared of what to tell her. Her mission on her way to Jane's home was simple: she wanted to make Jane feel she's not alone and that somebody out there actually feels the same way.
"I am not one of them sweetheart." Leila chuckles.
Jane nodded and was somehow relieved. The real reason why she hated vampires is not because they're devils or they're monsters or if they simply suck life out of breathing beings. The thing is, Jane hated vampires because for her whole life, she never lived normal and it's because of them.
Even before, Jane wanted to live simple. She wished she could run and hop along the valley with no one watching her from behind. She wished she could play all day without limits. She wished she could climb trees and mountain tops and live young, wild, and free.
She wished she could simply be Jane Blanchard.
But no; thanks to the blood of royalties and red-eyed monsters that threatened her for her entire life. Jane couldn't even stay outside her home for a minute because her father would be very protective over her. Jane could not even enjoy her childhood years because she is afraid.
