26: The Children of Moon

My whole body's been covered with blood. Two deep and tiny holes were on my neck, producing the seemingly endless river of blood. They were aching. Muffled voices were continuously talking... no... they were fighting. I could hear impacts of hard punches being thrown away and I could feel the gush of the wind around me. My arms were to weak to even move.

Suddenly, a bright light came across a distance. I saw field of roses and fresh green grass. There were chirping birds and the wind was so delighting. However, leaning by the tree opposite from me was a tall and dark figure. It looked familiar. On the other tree, beside it, was another tall figure. I didn't recognize it. He was holding a piece of black metal shaped to kill people; a gun.

My brows constantly furrowed together in the middle as I take one step closer. My heart and my mind, they were fighting as if telling me to choose. As I walk towards the curly-haired boy, his figure melted away. Slowly, very slowly. He soon disappears.

Then, he looked at me. He offered his soft-looking hand.

"Come with me..."

I woke up, sweat dripping from my face. The excessive speed of my heartbeat made the situation worse. It's another dream; the dream that started yesterday and the dream that won't let me sleep last night. It was actually strange knowing I don't have anything to do with my body drained dry from blood and instead covered with it all the way from my neck to my toes.

Rubbing my forehead, I rolled over to the side and blinked my eyes a few times. I was cold but a black coat wrapped around me was already enough to keep me from shivering too much. I arose and rubbed my legs gently as few stains of muds takes place on them. At least, I was laying on a soft green grass. Harry might have—

"Harry?" I unsurely muttered, his back facing me. He was looking down and kneeling on the ground, his arms pinned on the trunk of the tall tree. As I stand from my place, the bright sun beamed down on him. And that when I realized how beautiful Harry's skin was.

There were like sparkles.

Harry faced me with a small and faded smile. "Good Morning Beautiful." He mumbled and with one swift motion grabbed me by the waist. "How was your sleep?"

"Good; I suppose?" I bluntly replied, more of a question. I lied again. I'm used of lying that I'm afraid I almost sound convincing already by now. But I couldn't hide my uncertainty about ever having a dream with my very own framed body being covered and stained with blood; can I?

Harry nodded as his lopsided smile grew larger into a full one. He planted a soft kiss on my lips before he pulled away from me again. Then, without my full knowledge, he intwertwined his fingers with mine. "Let's find for something to eat. I can't let you die of hunger."

We started to walk towards somewhere I don't know. If that really makes sense. I inhaled some fresh air, also hearing the peaceful flowing of a river nearby. It feels so good, I can feel that I've obtained the freedom I so long desired for. It wasn't as hard as I thought.

Just my small fingers slipped in with Harry's larger ones makes me feel so safe already. They fit together like puzzle pieces that finally found their places. It's just funny because until now, I can't recover to the fact that I did something stupid, once and last, in my entire life. I ran away.
